After World War II, various organizations began to emerge to regulate civil aviation, creating different standards and procedures to enhance flight safety. One of the major advancements by these organizations was the creation of a written flight plan form, aimed at documenting all flight information and allowing it to be communicated to various airports involved in the route. Currently, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) mandates the submission of a flight plan before commencing any activity.
