The analysis uses a data sample with an integrated luminosity of 429.0 fb-1, recorded by the BABAR detector at the PEP-II asymmetric B Factory. This sample corresponds to 470.9 ±} 2.8 million B$\bar{B}$ pairs. Measurements of the branching fractions (B) and CP asymmetries (ACP) of some of the intermediate resonances in the K+[pi]0[pi]0 Dalitz plot are also presented.

The measurement of the relative branching fraction is performed by applying a fit in invariant mass and specific ionization to 1.2 fb-1 of Ds(??)X data collected with the CDF II detector in pp collisions at √s = 1.96 TeV at the Fermilab Tevatron collider. We measure B($ar{B}$$0top{s}$ → D± s K∓¢/B($ar{B}$$0top{s}$ → D$+top{s}$ ?-) = 0.107±0.019(stat)±0.008(sys). The statistical significance of the $ar{B}$$0top{s}$ → D$+top{s}$ K∓ signal is 7.9?. To cross-check our analysis method, we also measure B($ar{B0}$ → D+K-)/B($ar{B0}$ → D+?-) and B($ar{B0}$ → D*+K-)/B($ar{B0}$ → D*+?-) and verify that our results are in agreement with the world average.

More precisely, the book offers a constructive proof of global, smooth solutions to the Einstein Vacuum Equations, which look, in the large, like the Minkowski space-time. The work contains a detailed description of the sense in which these solutions are close to the Minkowski space-time, in all directions. Book excerpt: Scattering resonances generalize bound states/eigenvalues for systems in which energy can scatter to infinity. A typical resonance has a rate of oscillation (just as a bound state does) and a rate of decay. Although the notion is intrinsically dynamical, an elegant mathematical formulation comes from considering meromorphic continuations of Green's functions. The poles of these meromorphic continuations capture physical information by identifying the rate of oscillation with the real part of a pole and the rate of decay with its imaginary part. An example from mathematics is given by the zeros of the Riemann zeta function: they are, essentially, the resonances of the Laplacian on the modular surface. The Riemann hypothesis then states that the decay rates for the modular surface are all either or . An example from physics is given by quasi-normal modes of black holes which appear in long-time asymptotics of gravitational waves. This book concentrates mostly on the simplest case of scattering by compactly supported potentials but provides pointers to modern literature where more general cases are studied. It also presents a recent approach to the study of resonances on asymptotically hyperbolic manifolds. The last two chapters are devoted to semiclassical methods in the study of resonances.
