The information in the Technical Support Documents will be used to develop a Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) to assess potential and cumulative environmental impacts on proposed JTF-6 activities in these areas. The mission of JTF-6 is to plan and coordinate military operations and training along the Texas Gulf Coast and the U.S. southwest land border from Texas to California in support of counter-narcotics activities by federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies.
