Each curriculum prepares for a specific type of teaching position. The two year's work of the normal school is divided into four semesters. The work of the first semester is the same for all students. A large purpose of the work of the first semester is to acquaint students with the require ments for successful teaching in the different grades so that they -may be able to decide intelligently in what grade or grades they prefer to teach.
