Book Famous But Unauthentic Stories from The Seerah of The Prophet Muhammad

Download or read book Famous But Unauthentic Stories from The Seerah of The Prophet Muhammad written by Mohammed Thajammul Hussain Manna and published by . This book was released on 2020-05-25 with total page 116 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: All Praises and Thanks be to Allah and peace and salutations be upon the last and final Messenger Muhammad ﷺ.This small but beneficial work began as an assignment, attempted at training the third year students of The Taleem-ush-Shariah Department1 (Women), in translating and summarizing Arabic books.Initially, the third year students, of the batch 2018-19, were given a fifty four point short summary of the book in Arabic2, which they Alhamdulillah successfully completed in translating into the English language.I later referred to the original book and found it very beneficial for students of The Prophetic Seerah, thus I decided to summarize and translate all the unauthentic stories mentioned in the book and compile them so as to benefit a larger audience. The narrations mentioned in the Arabic text of the original book as authored by Shaikh Dr.Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ushan were studied and summarized, and the accuracy of the summaries were cross checked in other English renderings of the famous books of Seerah3 and were finalised. Whilst mentioning who declared a narration weak or checked the authenticity, we tried not to bring the entire discussion presented in the original book. We only named the scholar(s), who criticised the narration and referenced the summarized ruling to their respective books of research. Sometimes I named the weak narrators when the discussion in the book was brief and at times I mentioned the alternative authentic story and their references as pointed out by Shaikh Dr.Muhammad bin Abdullah Al-Ushan4 .5 At times I referenced some authentic narrations from myself when I thought it to be beneficial.I and the author as he mentioned in his introduction, do not claim that only these are the most unauthentic stories being spread. The reality of the matter is that there are numerous other unreliable narrations as the scholars have mentioned6.In the 'Appendix', we have added a handful of other stories which are false or very weak but are frequently heard in Islamic speeches and lectures, as we found it fit to use this booklet to alert and warn the readers of the weak and false narrations spread in the Ummah. We hope that this endeavour by us will be fruitful in enlightening the masses on being careful in studying the Prophet's biography ﷺ.May Allah accept this from us.-Abu Muaaz Mohammed MannaIslamic Studies teacher at The Islamic Education Center for Women (IEC)(R), Mangalore, India.

Book Seerah of Prophet Muhammad SAW Vol 1

Download or read book Seerah of Prophet Muhammad SAW Vol 1 written by Maria Yaseen and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2020-10-12 with total page 242 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this series of books, Insha'Allah we will embark on a journey that will help us in becoming better Muslims. This series of books will be concentrating on the life and times of the single greatest human being who has ever lived, Prophet Muhammad SAW. Now my methodology for the Seerah is something very unique and different. It will be more academic than maybe other Seerah that you have read. And the purpose of this Seerah is not just to narrate stories, that will make you feel good. But to give you morals and benefits and wisdoms of the Seerah. So, after every incident, we will have a pause and ask ourselves, what can we derive from this story, and how can we benefit from this story. Especially in light of modern times. And so, we will go into extensive detail with this. Because this is my methodology. And we're going to analyze and dissect the Seerah. And Insha'Allah my goal is that the Seerah is presented in a manner that really has not been presented before. Because I go back to the source. we'll go back to Ibn Ishaq and Ibn Hisham, and Al-Bayhaqi, and Ibn Sa'd. we'll go back to the original sources. In this volume, we begin by talking about some of the broad characteristics of our Prophet SAW. Some of the unique and specific characteristics that Allah Subhana WA Ta'ala has given to our Prophet SAW. We embark on why we study Seerah, and what is Seerah. And then we begin with the birth and the Pre-Islamic Arabia. Then, we will continue talking about his characteristics and his appearance and his mannerisms. The purpose of this is to give you a little bit of a taster of the life of the Prophet SAW. I want to give you a little summary, a bird's eye view. So, we get the summary of who exactly our Prophet SAW was.So, before we begin with the birth of the Prophet SAW. We need to explain the world at his time. We're going to begin by doing that and discuss the benefit we can derive from it. Then, we will be as discussing the genealogy of the Prophet SAW. And we began by talking about the entire Arab race. Because this is how the books of Seerah began. Who exactly are the Arabs? And there are many theories presented by scholars that we will discuss.

Book excerpt: In every era numerous authors have written books of various sizes on the seerah (life) of Nabi [PBUH]. This service is still continuing and an assortment of gems will continue to be discovered from this vast ocean. There is no doubt that this insignificant individual does not possess the expertise required for this field. However, time and again this idea had surfaced that something should be written on this sacred topic regardless of the result with the hope that it may be a means of my salvation in the hereafter. Thus, I undertook the task of compiling this small book by extracting different aspects from the various books authored on seerah. I have taken special care to ensure that the language is of an understandable and simple level. May Allah Ta'ala crown this effort with His acceptance and allow it to be beneficial for one and all. May it also be a means of my salvation in the hereafter. Hadhrat Moulana Siddeeq Ahmad Baandwi Saheb [R.A.]

Syeed, National Director, Office for Interfaith & Community Alliances, Islamic Society of North America In the pages of Muhammad: The Story of a Prophet and Reformer, young readers will encounter a man very different from the figure often presented in Western popular culture. Drawing from biographies, the Quran, and hadith, Sarah Conover, co-author of Ayat Jamilah: Beautiful Signs: A Treasury of Islamic Wisdom for Children and Parents, relates the story of a radical prophet who challenged the rich and powerful, guided his community of followers through a dangerous time of persecution and exile, formed alliances with people of different beliefs, and preached "love for humanity what you love for yourself." Before he became one of the most venerated, and most misunderstood, religious leaders in history, Muhammad was an orphaned child and a shepherd. Book excerpt: It is very important for anyone who wants to spread the message of Islam to study the life of the Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) and discover how he undertook the mission of da'wah, or calling to Islam. This book is a blueprint for da'wah. From studying his biography we learn the lessons of patience and perseverance in the face of adversity and opposition, and the readiness to sacrifice everything for the cause of Islam. In this book, Dr. as-Sibâ'ie shows us how the Prophet's approach was gentle yet determined and clear-cut, with no compromise on basic issues. The author takes the most important events of the Messenger's life, summarizes them in order to offer a brief overview, then outlines the lessons that we learn from these events. This is an excellent introduction both to the principles of da'wah and to the seerah, the study of the life of the Prophet (blessings and peace be upon him). It should be on the bookshelf of every Muslim who wants to call others to Allah.

Download or read book The Story of the Holy Prophet Muhammad written by Ibn Kathir and published by Independently Published. This book was released on 2019-04-27 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although there are many better biographies about the Noble Prophet (peace be upon him), they are not completely accurate. Who were the eyewitnesses to such events? Or did the authors purposely misled the readers to present a negative view of Islam and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him).If you want an accurate history of Islam, read Ibn Kathir. He wrote over 48 books and over 60,000 pages. He lived in a time when people feared Allah far more and died in a righteous state. The Prophet (peace be upon him) was sent as a mercy NOT only to Mankind but to all the creations, and this includes all animals. His teachings further preserved the sanctity of animals and reinforced how people must honor and respect all of God's creation. Before you step on ant or harm a cat or dog, memorize the following Hadith: Allah's Messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "An ant had bitten Prophet Uzair (peace be upon him), one of the Prophets sent to the Children of Israel. So he ordered that the colony of the ants be burnt. Then Allah revealed to him: "Because of an ant's bite you have burnt a community from amongst the communities which sings My Glory."

Book The First Muslim

Download or read book The First Muslim written by Lesley Hazleton and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2013-01-24 with total page 384 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The extraordinary life of the man who founded Islam, and the world he inhabited—and remade. Lesley Hazleton's new book, Agnostic: A Spirited Manifesto, is out now from Riverhead Books. Muhammad’s was a life of almost unparalleled historical importance; yet for all the iconic power of his name, the intensely dramatic story of the prophet of Islam is not well known. In The First Muslim, Lesley Hazleton brings him vibrantly to life. Drawing on early eyewitness sources and on history, politics, religion, and psychology, she renders him as a man in full, in all his complexity and vitality. Hazleton’s account follows the arc of Muhammad’s rise from powerlessness to power, from anonymity to renown, from insignificance to lasting significance. How did a child shunted to the margins end up revolutionizing his world? How did a merchant come to challenge the established order with a new vision of social justice? How did the pariah hounded out of Mecca turn exile into a new and victorious beginning? How did the outsider become the ultimate insider? Impeccably researched and thrillingly readable, Hazleton’s narrative creates vivid insight into a man navigating between idealism and pragmatism, faith and politics, nonviolence and violence, rejection and acclaim. The First Muslim illuminates not only an immensely significant figure but his lastingly relevant legacy.

Book Did Muhammad Exist

Download or read book Did Muhammad Exist written by Robert Spencer and published by Bombardier Books. This book was released on 2021-07-13 with total page 307 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Is there any sound historical evidence that the prophet of Islam actually existed, or is the entire story of Muhammad fable or fiction? It is a question that few have thought—or dared—to ask. Virtually everyone, Muslim and non-Muslim alike, takes for granted that the prophet of Islam lived as a prophet, as well as a political and military leader, in seventh-century Arabia. But this widely accepted story begins to crumble on close examination. In his blockbuster New York Times bestseller The Truth about Muhammad, historian and Islam expert Robert Spencer revealed the often shocking contents of Islamic teachings about Muhammad. Now, in this newly revised and expanded version of Did Muhammad Exist?, he lays bare those teachings’ surprisingly shaky historical foundations. This updated and enlarged version of this acclaimed book examines even more striking and compelling evidence that the story of Muhammad, who for so long was assumed to have lived in the “full light of history,” could be more myth and legend than historical fact. Spencer meticulously examines historical records and archaeological findings, pioneering new scholarship to reconstruct what we can know about Muhammad, the Qur’an, and the early days of Islam. The evidence he presents challenges the most fundamental assumptions about Islam’s origins.
