Students who take ownership over their work also increase their self-efficacy. This project seeks to solve the problem of parent-teacher conferences and the lack of student engagement and ownership in their learning through the implementation of student-led conferences (SLC). The project plans a pilot program for the use of student portfolios and SLCs that will be ultimately tested through a series of parent/guardian and student surveys to determine the success of the project.
