Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The origins of life, species, and man continue to interest scientists and stir debate among the general public more than one hundred and fifty years after Charles Darwin published On the Origin of Species. The Evolution Myth approaches the subject with two intertwined objectives. Jiří A. Mejsnar first sets out to convey the advances made in cosmology, molecular biology, genetics, and other sciences that have enabled us to change our views on our origins and our relationship with the universe. Scientific advances now allow us to calculate, for example, the age of the universe, the period in which biblical Eve lived, and, with good justification, to reconsider the possibility that the Neanderthals and primates might be our ancestors. The author’s second objective is to use biology to explain why evolution cannot have taken place in the way that is most commonly assumed. Mejsnar builds his case around gene stability and on the sophisticated modern techniques for gene manipulation, the complexity of which make these modified genes inaccessible to nature. Development of life on Earth is a discontinuous, saltatory progression that results in stages following from preceding latent periods in which new forms suddenly appear and possess new types of genome. This, the author argues, is difficult to reconcile with the hypothesis of continuous biological evolution based on the natural selection of random variations. Taking a new approach to a much-debated subject, Mejsnar distills complex information into a rreadable style. The result is a book that as sure to get readers talking.

Download or read book The MYTH about EVOLUTION written by John Constantine Capleton and published by Xulon Press. This book was released on 2021-08-08 with total page 296 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: - Do you ever have questions about the universe and how it came into being? - Have you ever wondered where you came from and what is your purpose in this life? - Do you think it would help if you were presented with a rational, scientific explanation as to the origin of the universe and life as we know it? This book offers scientific evidence about the origin of the universe that leaves no doubt that it was planned and executed to manifest itself as an ordered system. This order is apparent in the very fabric of matter and life as we know it. There is a direct link between matter and life that can be traced back to a single origin or reference. Its structure and manifestation are defined by an intelligent designer. Any ordered system must have a fixed reference as its origin, with sequential components that can only be directed by an intelligent designer. This process is far from random as, by definition, it is ordered. Only intelligence has the ability to define and execute order. The idea for this book came from a prophesy that was communicated to me which, at the time, I did not understand. I was told I would get wisdom from the HOLY SPIRIT and to get it I would need to do nothing. The next few months I kept wondering 'what could it be', but kept an open mind. I then started getting thoughts about the universe and the order manifested in it. I discovered that this order is universal in its manifestation. What causes order in the universe? Can it initiate itself? When I thought about the law of entropy it was obvious that order had to be planned and then communicated to matter for it to conform. Order requires sequencing and timing and there has to be a fixed reference before it can be successfully used in a practical application. This book is a summary of the more common ordered systems in our world and shows that planning, referencing, sequencing and sometimes timing are an integral part of all ordered systems. Intelligence is the most important element in developing an ordered system as intelligence sets the reference and all other components in the system. It was also evident that this principle is applicable to our thought process. GOD gave us commandments to help us maintain spiritual order, but also free choice so we could disobey them. However, disobeying would result in SIN or disorder. Since the universe is an ordered system it must have been initiated or created by an intelligent being, GOD. Intelligence defines and creates order. Order and randomness are mutually exclusive. The process of evolution cannot, therefore, create order because it has no fixed reference or understanding of sequencing. Order also needs constant maintenance. Uploaded to site.

Book The Science of Evolution and the Myth of Creationism

Download or read book The Science of Evolution and the Myth of Creationism written by Ardea Skybreak and published by Insight Press, Inc. This book was released on 2006-09-01 with total page 369 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This clear, lively, and systematic presentation examines the scientific evidence for evolution and reaches for the widest possible audience—from scientific minds to those with no science background at all. Forcefully rejecting creationist objections to evolution and including a critique of Intelligent Design, it argues that they are part of a larger social agenda. With discussion that celebrates the fascination to be found in studying the diversity and complexity of life, this examination suggests with some urgency that the science of evolution is crucial to the existence of science itself.

Book Evolution Is a Myth

    Book Details:
  • Author : Gilbert C. Ward
  • Publisher : CreateSpace
  • Release : 2012-05-01
  • ISBN : 9781469913094
  • Pages : 144 pages

Download or read book Evolution Is a Myth written by Gilbert C. Ward and published by CreateSpace. This book was released on 2012-05-01 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Evolution is a Myth was written to offset the overwhelming assumption that evolution is a scientific fact. Contrary to that assumption; the theory has never been proven and scientific facts do not support it! In the study of all fields of science, the evidence actually disproves evolution. DNA, that is found in all living matter, restricts any new changes in the offspring from that transferred in the DNA from the parents! For example, if the parents do not have feathers; the offspring, the young, will not have feathers. Feathers must be in the DNA of the parents for the young to have feathers. The tinniest animal, the microscopic bacteria, is composed of many working parts: genes, molecules, proteins, enzymes and DNA. If one of the parts were missing the animal would die; it could not wait around for evolution to evolve the necessary parts for it to survive. All parts had to be present at the same time! This could only come about by instantaneous creation! Besides the book giving evidence from several fields of science, there are the quotes from thirteen men of science, who believe in evolution, stating their doubts about the validity of the theory. Stop and think! How can matter, undisclosed as to where it came from, without any intelligence to guide it, evolve into the complexity of the cell, or life and the universe with its precision, that we witness each day? We must conclude that without some intelligence behind it, we would be in all kinds of confusion. The finding of an occasional fossil gets a lot of attention in the news; but it soon fades because it really didn't provide the substantial evidence needed to prove the theory. If there were such a process as evolution, then the fossils of connection species would be plentiful over the supposed millions of years the evolutionist proclaim; but there are none! The pre-historic men of the past; The Nebraska man, the Pithecanthropus Erectus, the Piltdown man, the Neanderthal, Lucy, and Ardi; all had their day; but none made substantial proof that evolution was a fact. three of them turned out to be frauds and Lucy was reconstructed many times to make her look more like a missing link. Would you believe that the Pithecanthropus, or Java Man, even though it was proven to be a fraud, was used in the March, 2010 issue of the Smithsonian to support evolution and that CBS ran "Dino Finding" on 60 minutes twice, November 15, 2009 and again on December 26, 2010 in support of evolution. The fossils of this dinosaur, B Rex, was claimed to be 68 million years old; but it had soft blood tissues. The dinosaur could not be that old and still have soft elastic blood vessels. Evolution is not only wanting in its need for evidence; it has nothing to stimulate and challenge the individual to live a purposeful life. This desire has to come from other sources than believing one came from a lower form of animal life.

Book The Evolution of Blake s Myth

Download or read book The Evolution of Blake s Myth written by Sheila A. Spector and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2020-05-04 with total page 412 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Interpreting Blake has always proved challenging. Hermeneutics, as the on-going negotiation between the horizon of expectations and a given text, hinges on the preconceptions that structure thought. The structure, in turn, is derived from myth, a cultural narrative predicated on a particular set of foundational principles, and organized in terms of the resulting symbolic form. The primary impediment to interpreting Blake has been the failure to recognize that he and much of his audience have thought in terms of two radically different myths. In The Evolution of Blake’s Myth, Sheila A. Spector establishes the dimensions of the myth that structures Blake’s thought. In the first of three parts, she uses Jerusalem, Blake’s most complete book, as the basis for extrapolating the components of the consolidated myth. She then traces the chronological development of the myth from its origin in the late 1780s through its crystallization in Milton. Finally, she demonstrates how Blake used the myth hermeneutically, as the horizon of expectations for interpreting not only his own work, but the Bible and the visionary texts of others, as well.
