We were poor and living was hard for my family, but my father also called John bought a saw mill. He made fish boxes for Carl Lindstrom in Kenora. After the mill was sold, we converted the barge which was used for transporting the fish boxes into a houseboat. We were like gypsies travelling the lake of the woods in search of work for my father. Dad was a finishing carpenter as well as a brick mason, he was good at what he did. Enjoy this book.
