Les travaux effectués sous le double aspect expérimental et théorique, visent à caractériser les effets instationnaires engendrés par un tourbillon d'extrémité sur un profil aval bidimensionnel oscillant en mouvement de tamis longitudinal. Dans un premier temps, l'étude expérimentale complète du tourbillon d'extrémité émis par la demi-aile montre que les caractéristiques instantanées de celui-ci sont fortement modifiées par l'oscillation du profil aval. Dans un deuxième temps, le comportement global, ainsi que les grandeurs locales sur le profil recepteur, sont évalués expérimentalement. En régime non décollé l'effet principal de l'interaction se situe sur le coefficient de moment, tandis que le décrochage dynamique reste prépondérant pour les grandes incidences géométriques. Sur le plan théorique, le code de calcul, repose sur la méthode des singularités, couplée à une configuration de nappe plane et rigide, formée de tourbillons en fer à cheval. L'influence réciproque du recepteur sur l'émetteur est introduite par l'intermédiaire de la loi expérimentale d'évolution de la circulation du tourbillon émis. Des confrontations calcul-expérience ont été réalisées dans différentes configurations d'écoulement en régimes stationnaire ou instationnaire et les résultats de ces confrontations montrent un bon accord, principalement sur les grandeurs instantanées

Ils peuvent représenter un danger pour un avion suiveur en raison d'un fort moment de roulis induit. Le travail présenté ici contribue à la connaissance du comportement de ces tourbillons à l'aide de simulations numériques directes et aux grandes échelles. Différents aspects de la dynamique des tourbillons ont été étudiés. Le premier concerne la propagation et la collision de fronts d'onde le long d'un tourbillon. Ces fronts peuvent être générés lors de la reconnection des tourbillons contrarotatifs dans le champ lointain du sillage (instabilité de grande longueur d'onde). Les caractéristiques de la propagation et de ses conséquences ont été mises en évidence, ainsi qu'un critère objectif d'apparition du phénomène d'explosion tourbillonnaire (contribue fortement à la dissipation du sillage). Par le biais de simulations temporelles, une étude paramétrique a ensuite été menée pour caractériser et quantifier l'interaction entre un tourbillon et un jet de moteur. Les résultats obtenus montrent que l'écoulement de jet a pour effet de diminuer le pic de vitesse des tourbillons en condition de croisière. En conditions hypersustentées, le jet peut être suffisamment puissant pour mener à la déstructuration du tourbillon. Le dernier phénomène étudié est la fusion des tourbillons corotatifs émis en bout d'aile et de volet. L'approche temporelle a permis d'étudier ce processus dans des conditions stables et instables sans vitesse axiale, pour deux modèles de tourbillons. Des conditions limites adaptées ont par la suite été implantées dans le but d'effectuer des simulations spatiales de ce processus de fusion. Ce type de simulation permet en outre de prendre en compte la torsion du système tourbillonnaire et l'influence d'une vitesse axiale. Deux configurations d'écoulements ont été simulées et ont permis de montrer la complexité des mécanismes instationnaires existants. Cette thèse a été réalisée au CERFACS dans le cadre du projet européen FAR-Wake.
