Book excerpt: Ces travaux sont dédiés à l'étude de quelques équations de couches limites (Newtoniennes et non-Newtonniennes) incompressibles en écoulement externe en loi de puissance. L'étude porte essentiellement sur l'existence des solutions autosimilaires et leurs propriétés qualitatives et quantitatives. Le premier chapitre contient des rappels de quelques définitions et un résumé des résultats obtenus. Dans le second chapitre, on s'intéresse au problème de Falknar-Skan. Une analyse complète de la méthode des solutions autosimilaires est donnée, une condition nécessaire et suffisante pour avoir des solutions autosimilaires est fournie. Dans le troisième chapitre, nous avons étudié, par une approche similaire , le problème de convection mixte, l'existence et le comportement des solutions, ainsi que des résultats numériques sont présentés. Le cas d'un fluide non-Newtonnien en écoulement laminaire autour d'une surface étirée, a été considéré dans le chapitre 4, nous avons montré que ce problème admet un nombre infini de solutions globales non bornées et leurs comportements asymptotiques à l'infini ont été étudiés. Le chapitre 5 concerne un cas critique du problème étudié dans le chapitre précédent. Nous avons montré que ce problème ne peut pas avoir des solutions autosimilaires.
