Download or read book ETUDE DES PLASMAS DENSES D HELIUM CREES DANS LES TUBES A ECLAIRS written by MOHAMMED.. EL BEZZARI and published by . This book was released on 1997 with total page 144 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: LES PLASMAS DENSES D'HELIUM ETUDIES SONT EN EQUILIBRE THERMODYNAMIQUE LOCAL ET FAIBLEMENT NON-IDEAUX. LES METHODES UTILISEES POUR LEUR DIAGNOSTIC REPOSENT SUR LES MESURES DU RAYONNEMENT CONTINU, DE L'INTENSITE DES RAIES SPECTRALES, DU RAPPORT ENTRE CES INTENSITES ET LEUR CONTINUUM ADJACENT, DE L'EPAISSEUR OPTIQUE DE LA RAIE A 587,5 NM ET DE L'INTERFEROMETRIE LASER A 3,39 M. LES DENSITES ELECTRONIQUES ET LES TEMPERATURES OBTENUES A PARTIR DU CONTINUUM ET DE L'INTENSITE DES RAIES SPECTRALES SONT TROP ELEVEES COMPAREES A CELLES DEDUITES DES MESURES D'INTERFEROMETRIE ET DE L'EPAISSEUR OPTIQUE, ET NE TRADUISENT PAS LE COMPORTEMENT REEL DU MILIEU. EN PRENANT EN COMPTE LA NON-IDEALITE DU PLASMA PAR L'INTRODUCTION DANS LE CALCUL DU CONTINUUM ET DE L'INTENSITE DES RAIES SPECTRALES DE L'EFFET DE LA DISTRIBUTION DES MICROCHAMPS IONIQUES, UN BON ACCORD EST OBTENU ENTRE LES DIFFERENTES METHODES DE DETERMINATION DES PARAMETRES. CET EFFET SE TRADUIT PAR UNE PROBABILITE STATISTIQUE DE REALISATION DES ETATS LIES DE L'ATOME D'AUTANT PLUS FAIBLE QUE L'ENERGIE DU NIVEAU EST ELEVEE ET QUE LA DENSITE ELECTRONIQUE EST FORTE. LES PROFILS RADIAUX DE TEMPERATURE ET DE DENSITE ELECTRONIQUE CALCULES CONDUISENT A DES VALEURS SUR L'AXE DU TUBE VARIANT RESPECTIVEMENT DE 18000 A 28000 K, ET DE 2 10#1#7 A 1,6 10#1#8 CM#-#3. L'ETUDE DES PROFILS DES RAIES SPECTRALES ATOMIQUES EMISES A PERMIS DE MESURER LEURS ELARGISSEMENTS ET DEPLACEMENTS PAR EFFET STARK EN FONCTION DES PARAMETRES DU PLASMA, ET DE COMPARER CES GRANDEURS A CELLES DONNEES PAR LES CALCULS THEORIQUES ET PAR D'AUTRES EXPERIMENTATEURS. L'INTERPRETATION DES VALEURS MESUREES DE L'IMPEDANCE ELECTRIQUE DU PLASMA D'APRES CELLES CALCULEES A PARTIR DE LA CONDUCTIVITE ELECTRIQUE, A MONTRE LA NECESSITE DE FAIRE INTERVENIR LA NON-IDEALITE EN INTRODUISANT UN PARAMETRE DE CORRECTION SUR LA LONGUEUR D'ECRANTAGE DU POTENTIEL COULOMBIEN.

Book ETUDE DES PROPRIETES RADIATIVES DES PLASMAS DE GAZ RARES CREES DANS LES TUBES A ECLAIRS

Download or read book ETUDE DES PROPRIETES RADIATIVES DES PLASMAS DE GAZ RARES CREES DANS LES TUBES A ECLAIRS written by AHMED.. SIYACOUN and published by . This book was released on 1992 with total page 146 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DES PLASMAS DE GAZ RARES (ARGON, KRYPTON ET XENON), FAIBLEMENT NON-IDEAUX, HOMOGENES ET REPRODUCTIBLES, SONT CREES DANS DES TUBES A ECLAIRS LINEAIRES. LES PARAMETRES DE PLASMA SONT DEDUITS DES MESURES DE L'EMISSIVITE DU CONTINUUM, DE L'INTENSITE DES RAIES ATOMIQUES OPTIQUEMENT EPAISSES EN LEUR CENTRE, EN UTILISANT LES LOIS DE L'EQUILIBRE THERMODYNAMIQUE LOCAL DU PLASMA. L'EPAISSEUR OPTIQUE DU PLASMA A ETE MESUREE A DIFFERENTES LONGUEURS D'ONDE DANS L'INTERVALLE SPECTRAL 466-640 NM, SOIT A L'AIDE D'UN LASER A COLORANT (RHODAMINE 6G) POMPE PAR UN LASER A ARGON IONISE, SOIT EN UTILISANT DIRECTEMENT LES RAIES D'EMISSION IONIQUE DU LASER DE POMPE. LES RESULTATS SONT EXPRIMES EN TERME DE FACTEUR DE BIBERMAN. L'EFFET DE LA DENSITE ELECTRONIQUE, A UNE LONGUEUR D'ONDE DONNEE, N'EST PAS SENSIBLE SUR LE FACTEUR DE BIBERMAN. PAR CONTRE, UN ABAISSEMENT OPTIQUE IMPORTANT, QUI REPOUSSE LES LIMITES DE SERIES, A ETE OBSERVE. NOUS AVONS MESURE EGALEMENT L'ELARGISSEMENT ET LE DEPLACEMENT PAR EFFET STARK DES RAIES SPECTRALES EMISES. LES PROFILS DE RAIE SONT ENREGISTRES PAR UN SPECTROGAPHE A FORTE DISPERSION COUPLE A UN ANALYSEUR OPTIQUE MULTICANAL. LES RESULTATS EXPERIMENTAUX MONTRENT QUE L'ELARGISSEMENT ET LE DEPLACEMENT DES RAIES NE VARIENT PAS PROPORTIONNELLEMENT A LA DENSITE ELECTRONIQUE: LEURS VALEURS SONT PLUS FAIBLES QUE PREVUES PAR LA THEORIE SEMI-CLASSIQUE DE GRIEM. L'EXPLICATION PROPOSEE EST QUE LES CORRELATIONS ENTRE PARTICULES CHARGEES CONDUISENT, PAR UN EFFET D'ECRAN, A UN AFFAIBLISSEMENT DE LA CONTRIBUTION DES COLLISIONS A GRANDE DISTANCE DE L'EMETTEUR

Book An Introduction to Differential Manifolds

Download or read book An Introduction to Differential Manifolds written by Jacques Lafontaine and published by Springer. This book was released on 2015-07-29 with total page 408 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book is an introduction to differential manifolds. It gives solid preliminaries for more advanced topics: Riemannian manifolds, differential topology, Lie theory. It presupposes little background: the reader is only expected to master basic differential calculus, and a little point-set topology. The book covers the main topics of differential geometry: manifolds, tangent space, vector fields, differential forms, Lie groups, and a few more sophisticated topics such as de Rham cohomology, degree theory and the Gauss-Bonnet theorem for surfaces. Its ambition is to give solid foundations. In particular, the introduction of “abstract” notions such as manifolds or differential forms is motivated via questions and examples from mathematics or theoretical physics. More than 150 exercises, some of them easy and classical, some others more sophisticated, will help the beginner as well as the more expert reader. Solutions are provided for most of them. The book should be of interest to various readers: undergraduate and graduate students for a first contact to differential manifolds, mathematicians from other fields and physicists who wish to acquire some feeling about this beautiful theory. The original French text Introduction aux variétés différentielles has been a best-seller in its category in France for many years. Jacques Lafontaine was successively assistant Professor at Paris Diderot University and Professor at the University of Montpellier, where he is presently emeritus. His main research interests are Riemannian and pseudo-Riemannian geometry, including some aspects of mathematical relativity. Besides his personal research articles, he was involved in several textbooks and research monographs.

Book Beam Instrumentation and Diagnostics

Download or read book Beam Instrumentation and Diagnostics written by Peter Strehl and published by Springer Science & Business Media. This book was released on 2006-06-18 with total page 438 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book summarizes the experience of many years of teamwork with my group, the beam diagnostics group of GSI. For a long time the group was also responsible for operating the machines and application programming. In my opinion, this connection was very e?cient: ?rst, because a beam diagnostic system has to place powerful tools at the operators’ disposal; second, because data evaluation and presentation of results for machine operation demand application programs which can be handled not only by skilled experts. On the other hand, accelerator developments and improvements as well as commissioning of new machines by specialists require more complex measu- ments than those for routine machine operation. A modern beam diagnostic system, including the software tools, has to cover these demands, too. Therefore, this book should motivate physicists, constructors, electronic engineers, and computer experts to work together during the design and daily use of a beam diagnostic system. This book aims to give them ideas and tools for their work. I would not have been able to write this book without a good education in physics and many discussions with competent leaders, mentors, and c- leagues. After working about 40 years in teams on accelerators, there are so many people I have to thank that it is impossible to mention them all by name here.

Book Imagining the Creole City

Download or read book Imagining the Creole City written by Rien Fertel and published by LSU Press. This book was released on 2014-11-17 with total page 261 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the early years of the nineteenth century, the burgeoning cultural pride of white Creoles in New Orleans intersected with America's golden age of print, to explosive effect. Imagining the Creole City reveals the profusion of literary output -- histories and novels, poetry and plays -- that white Creoles used to imagine themselves as a unified community of writers and readers. Rien Fertel argues that Charles Gayarré's English-language histories of Louisiana, which emphasized the state's dual connection to America and to France, provided the foundation of a white Creole print culture predicated on Louisiana's exceptionalism. The writings of authors like Grace King, Adrien Rouquette, and Alfred Mercier consciously fostered an image of Louisiana as a particular social space, and of themselves as the true inheritors of its history and culture. In turn, the forging of this white Creole identity created a close-knit community of cosmopolitan Creole elites, who reviewed each other's books, attended the same salons, crusaded against the popular fiction of George Washington Cable, and worked together to preserve the French language in local and state governmental institutions. Together they reimagined the definition of "Creole" and used it as a marker of status and power. By the end of this group's era of cultural prominence, Creole exceptionalism had become a cornerstone in the myth of Louisiana in general and of New Orleans in particular. In defining themselves, the authors in the white Creole print community also fashioned a literary identity that resonates even today.

Book Louisiana Creole Literature

Download or read book Louisiana Creole Literature written by Catharine Savage Brosman and published by Univ. Press of Mississippi. This book was released on 2013-10-17 with total page 278 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Louisiana Creole Literature is a broad-ranging critical reading of belles lettres—in both French and English—connected to and generally produced by the distinctive Louisiana Creole peoples, chiefly in the southeastern part of the state. The book covers primarily the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, the flourishing period during which the term Creole had broad and contested cultural reference in Louisiana. The study consists in part of literary history and biography. When available and appropriate, each discussion—arranged chronologically—provides pertinent personal information on authors, as well as publishing facts. Readers will find also summaries and evaluation of key texts, some virtually unknown, others of difficult access. Brosman illuminates the biographies and works of Kate Chopin, Lafcadio Hearn, George Washington Cable, Grace King, and Adolphe Duhart, among others. In addition, she challenges views that appear to be skewed regarding canon formation. The book places emphasis on poetry and fiction, reaching from early nineteenth-century writing through the twentieth century to selected works by poets still writing in the early twenty-first century. A few plays are treated also, especially by Victor Séjour. Louisiana Creole Literature examines at length the writings of important Francophone figures, and certain Anglophone novelists likewise receive extended treatment. Since much of nineteenth-century Louisiana literature was transnational, the book considers Creole-based works which appeared in Paris as well as those published locally.
