Impliquer les patients dans la prise en charge de leur maladie et leur apporter un suivi adapté est primordial. Ces problèmes se rencontrent dans la plupart des maladies chroniques mais sont souvent sous-estimes. De multiples notions comme la compliance thérapeutique, l'adhérence thérapeutique ou l'alliance thérapeutique sont regroupées sous le terme d'observance thérapeutique. Cette dernière peut se définir comme le respect des prescriptions médicales par le patient. L'étude réalisée a recherché les facteurs sociodémographiques, socio-économiques, médicaux et thérapeutiques influençant la non-observance thérapeutique des patients atteints de maladies chroniques. Pour répondre à notre objectif, une enquête via un questionnaire a été réalisée dans des officines de pharmacie de Franche-Comté chez des patients ayant une des quatre maladies suivantes : un diabète de type I, un diabète de type II, un asthme ou une maladie inflammatoire chronique de l'intestin. Soixante-huit patients ont été inclus, majoritairement des femmes, âgés en moyenne de 60 ans. La plupart d'entre eux n'avait plus d'activité professionnelle au moment de l'enquête. La majorité des patients ont leur maladie depuis plus de 10 ans. Soixante-six pour cent sont considérés comme non-observants. La maladie et l'influence de la prise des traitements sur la qualité de vie sont retrouvés comme influençant la non-observance thérapeutique. En connaissant ces facteurs on peut envisager une amélioration de la prise en charge des patients. Le pharmacien peut alors proposer des solutions adaptées en fonction du patient, de sa maladie et de son traitement.
