Caso Barranquilla y Florianópolis”, ejecutado desde el Observatorio de Educación de la Uninorte en Colombia y la Universidad del Estado de Santa Catarina en Brasil, con financiamiento del Departamento Administrativo de Ciencia, Tecnología e Innovación (COLCIENCIAS) y la Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de nivel superior (CAPES), en el marco de la convocatoria 597-2012. A partir de la aplicación de encuestas dirigidas a estudiantes y docentes de Brasil y Colombia, se obtuvieron importantes datos que ayudaron a estimar el nivel de aprovechamiento de las TIC en actividades educativas, y a identificar los factores determinantes para estos colectivos en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje liderados y/o recibidos. Con seguridad, este texto podrá servir de guía a las comunidades educativas en Brasil y Colombia, así como a los responsables públicos encargados del diseño de programas para medir los niveles de impacto de las TIC, con el fin de delinear nuevas estrategias para el fortalecimiento del proceso de inclusión digital en dichos países. Acciones que, con base en los datos que arrojó esta investigación, resultan impostergables si lo que se busca es integrar efectivamente la tecnología en la formación de los futuros profesionales.
