This is not uncommon in reviews; and yet there is a convenience in the advantages of such a position; for it enables the writer to speak with a confidence, and sometimes with a boldness, from which he would shrink, if he spoke in his own person, and not as the representative of certain principles, embodied in a collective responsibility.
