Book End Time Revelation of the Seven Churches

Download or read book End Time Revelation of the Seven Churches written by Apostle Bolatito Idowu and published by AuthorHouse. This book was released on 2012-07-31 with total page 89 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This is an assignment from heaven when I had and outer body experience to heaven. I was given few assignments for the end times. One of them was to write two books, and this is one of the books. End time Revelation of the seven churches. The book simple and explicit for everyone to understand regardless of your race, age, nationality or level of education. Every Christian on earth fits into one of the seven churches described in the book of Revelations in the bible. It is very important for every Christian to know which church he or she fits into and make necessary corrections, and repent in order to avoid the judgments of God. For if we would Judge ourselves, we should not be judged (1cor.11:31). We are blessed to have the opportunity (the Grace) from heaven to call our attention regarding the coming of the lord which is also known as The First Resurrection (rev 20:6).Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection; on such the second death hath no power. According to the revelation that I have from heaven, we are the last generation. Therefore, Individuals should take this message seriously if we really care for our souls. People should not play church nor have any motives other than pleasing God, and seeking for his will in all things. In other words walk in the spirit that you will not fulfill the lust of the flesh. Our God loves us more then what we can imagine and more than anyone or anything in this world. We should seek Him with all our hearts and do not fall into deception, because no one can deceive him. My advice is for individuals to pray and be very sincere to examine themselves to see which church they really fit into, so that adequate corrections can be made, and let God be glorified. If it is difficult to examine yourself, ask the Holy Spirit to reveal yourself to you. I am sure the Holy Spirit will do it, he may reveal through the words, prophecy, dreams, visions, words of knowledge, words of wisdom or through any other means of revelation. Whatever it takes to be right with him it is what we do. Enough of the deception on earth. We have the words of God to guide us and the Seven Churches as the examples of how God judges the church (Christians). This book is not mans doctrine of religion but the truth of the word, and the truth shall set us free, Amen.

Book Understanding End Times Prophecy

Download or read book Understanding End Times Prophecy written by Paul Benware and published by Moody Publishers. This book was released on 2006-05-01 with total page 282 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many Christians think of end times prophecy as a gigantic, intimidating puzzle -- difficult to piece together and impossible to figure out. But every puzzle can be solved if you approach it the right way. Paul Benware compares prophecy to a picture puzzle. Putting the edge pieces together first builds the 'framework' that makes it easier to fit the other pieces in their place. According to Benware, the framework for eschatology is the biblical covenants. He begins his comprehensive survey by explaining the major covenants. Then he discusses several different interpretations of end times prophecy. Benware digs into the details of the Rapture, the Great Tribulation, the judgements and resurrections, and the millennial kingdom. But he also adds a unique, personal element to the study, answering questions as: -Why study bible prophecy? -What difference does it make if I'm premillenial or amillenial? If what the Bible says about the future puzzles you, Understanding End Times Prophecy will help you put together the pieces and see the big picture.

Each chapter begins with a list of the specific events it covers, making this an extremely user-friendly chronological guide to end-times biblical prophecy. Rhodes allows for various interpretations among Christians. Yet the sequence he describes is faithful to the biblical text, based on a literal approach to prophecy, and held by many Bible scholars. As readers discover that they really can understand Bible prophecy, they will come to love and trust the Scriptures like never before.

Book The Church in End Time Prophecy

Download or read book The Church in End Time Prophecy written by Curtis Schulze and published by Christian Faith Publishing, Inc.. This book was released on 2021-04-12 with total page 156 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Church in Prophecy Today, the rapture of the church is one of the most disputed end-time topics in all the scriptures. No other end-time doctrine has divided the church more than this subject of the rapture. We have made this all about timing, rather than his return. Many are preoccupied with and distracted by their own particular prediction. The purpose of this book is not to refute one position in favor of another, but to come against the church's obsession and preoccupation with timing. Our focus should be directed toward his return, and not fixed on timing. This is the testimony of the scriptures! Whether he comes early, or whether he tarries, this does not matter to me. What matters to me is the readiness of the church! We need to be ready now and always if he comes early, but if delayed: we will need to be ready to go through the dark and difficult days ahead. We need to prepare our hearts now for what is coming lest it catch us off guard! We need to build our faith to stand under pressure, and we need to build our trust and confidence in Him now to keep us while in tribulation. We will need to settle the matter in our hearts concerning all those things coming on the earth, to lay our lives down at all cost! We will need to prepare our children and loved ones for the day ahead if the Lord tarry. If the Lord did return today, most would not be ready to evacuate! If he were to delay his coming, most are unprepared for the dark and difficult days ahead. I am afraid for the church! I am afraid many will fall away if the rapture does not occur as expected. I am afraid many are taking this too lightly, thinking they are guaranteed a seat on the rapture express but will be left behind because of complacency and indifference toward Christ and the gospel. Either way you look at it, the church is neither ready to leave, nor ready to go through!

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: I was asked recently why I decided to write this book when there are numerous "famous" authors on the subject? The question took me by surprise, but as I pondered my reasons, my response was two-fold: - I wanted to write a book that the general public (lay persons) could read with a high degree of comprehension, using word structure that is common in everyday language. - I wanted the book to lend itself to being used as the material for a detailed Bible study on the end-times. I am currently working on a journal to complement the book. As the reader works through the chapters of this book, he/she will discover: - how Daniel's prophecies predict the seven years of Tribulation. These prophecies serve as the backbone of this book; - why Christ chose the seven churches in chapters 2 and 3; - details about the rapture . . . when it will occur, who is involved""Don't be left behind; - details of the Judgment Seat of Christ; - details of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse; - description of the Seven Seals, Seven Trumpets, and Seven Bowls""when they occur, their devastation and purpose; - the Antichrist""discussed in detail; - details about the great revival during the first months of Tribulation; - who the two witnesses are and their purpose during the first half of Tribulation; - details regarding the Marriage Supper of the Lamb; - fascinating details of the Glorious Appearing and Armageddon; - surprising revelations about Satan; - details of the Judgment of the Sheep and Goats and the Great White Throne Judgment; - fascinating details about the Millennial Reign of Christ; - how many Books of Life exist. Are there more than one? - a full discussion of the New Heaven and New Earth; - the author's "time line" of events that happened during the seven-year Tribulation Period and beyond.

Book Are We Living in the Time of the End

Download or read book Are We Living in the Time of the End written by United Church of God and published by United Church of God. This book was released on 2010-09-16 with total page 81 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What does Bible prophecy tell us about the time of the end? Are we living in the end time? When will be the end of the world? For thousands of years people have been fascinated with predictions of the end of the world. If we look into the inspired writings of the biblical prophets and apostles, we find many prophecies that refer to the time of the end. Should we take them seriously? Are world conditions such that these prophecies could be fulfilled in our day? Jesus Christ Himself talked of a future time so horrendous that no human lives would be spared "unless those days were shortened" (Matthew 24:22). Did He have our time in mind? Many biblical warnings leave us in no doubt that increasingly cataclysmic events will occur before God's direct intervention in human affairs. These terrifying prophecies will see their fulfillment at some future time. The crucial question is when. This eye-opening Bible study aid booklet, Are We Living in the Time of the End?, examines exactly what Jesus, His apostles and the biblical prophets really said about the intriguing days they referred to as the time of the end. You need this vital information! Chapters in this ebook: -- Are We Living in the Time of the End? -- What Is the Time of the End? -- A World in Perpetual Crisis -- Noah and Our Time: A Sobering Parallel -- The End of the Age -- The Time of the End: The End of What? -- Biblical Terms for the Coming End of Man's Age -- Jesus Christ's Olivet Prophecy: Where Are We Now? -- Did Jesus Christ Foretell Devastating Storms? -- 'This Generation Will Not Pass' -- The End Time in the Book of Revelation -- The Population Explosion and Prophecy -- God's Framework for End-Time Prophecy -- Preparing for the End Time -- What Can You Do? Inside this Bible Study Aid ebook: "But we should remember that Jesus made it clear that no one could know the exact time of His return: "… Of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels of heaven, but My Father only" (Matthew 24:36)." "Some think the subject of the end time in the Bible is mainly confined to the New Testament. But beginning in Genesis, the first book of the Bible, the Scriptures look beyond our present evil age to the time of the establishing of God's Kingdom. Old Testament scriptures have much to say about events that take place during the end of this age and the following "world to come."" "When Scripture mentions "the time of the end" or "the end of the age," it is referring to the coming end of the present evil age. This age—in reality the age of Satan—will draw to an end, replaced by the age of God's rule over and guidance of all of humanity." "Revelation is a book written to reveal the future, and Jesus Christ is the One who does the revealing...Here is the theme of Revelation—the time of the end of the age and the return of Jesus Christ to establish God's Kingdom on earth." "How should we view prophecy? Can it provide spiritual benefits? The apostle Peter mentioned that prophecy should serve to strengthen our hope and faith in the future (2 Peter 1:19)."

Book A Table Narrative of the Seven Churches of Revelation

Download or read book A Table Narrative of the Seven Churches of Revelation written by Auriol Morris and published by . This book was released on 2015-03-20 with total page 94 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "The Seven Churches of Revelation" is a tabular study of the characteristics of the seven regional churches in Asia Minor in the Apostle John's day. In these "table narratives," we isolate the characteristics of the letters the Lord told John to write and what they mean for us today. Each letter contained the name of the "Church," any "Credits" in their conduct, any "Charges" against them, the "Remedies" to the charges, the "Risks" for disobedience, and the "Rewards" for obedience and perseverance to the end. Those in rebellion against God were being shown mercy, while those who were being faithful were encouraged to persevere to the end. But lest we see this as just a great story, these same traits represent seven types of believers, then and now. However, in this apocalyptic book about the end of the Church age, there is special relevance for those who make up the end-time Church. Jesus expects us to heed His warnings to the five disobedient churches of Ephesus, Pergamos, Thyatira, Sardis, and Laodicea; and His encouragement to the two faithful churches of Smyrna and Philadelphia.Similar to the minority of churches faithful to God in John's day, we find not much has changed. In addition, relatively few people live lives submitted to God and His agenda - most in the Church go their own way away from God furthering their own agendas. Yet, in His mercy, Jesus reveals the keys to regaining our right standing with Him. To Him, repentance and submission are the keys to reestablishing righteousness and walking in His authority. Revelation is considered the most mysterious book in the Bible, and in many ways it is. But but you do not have to know the Greek and everything in it to draw out the lessons that Jesus is teaching us today. The main lessons are how to remain overcomers in these perilous times. The most important key is to remain faithful and true to Him, and all will be well. So while most people, even non-believers, view the end with fear and trepidation, those who are in Christ, need not fear but be encouraged that every promise that He has made in His word will be fulfilled.

Book The Seven Churches of the Apocalypse A Look at the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation

Download or read book The Seven Churches of the Apocalypse A Look at the Seven Churches in the Book of Revelation written by Daniel H. Kiser and published by Outskirts Press. This book was released on 2021-02-09 with total page 472 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: While in exile on the Island of Patmos, the Apostle John received this instruction from Jesus: "Write what you see into a book. Send it to the seven churches: Ephesus, Smyrna, Pergamum, Thyatira, Sardis, Philadelphia and Laodicea" (Revelation 1:11; The Message Bible). Jesus then proceeds to dictate to the apostle personal messages to each of the seven churches. The content of these messages does not contain the opinions, or instructions of a pastor, deacon, elder or governing church council. These messages were sent directly from Jesus and reveal his assessment of each church. This in itself should be sufficient reason for taking the time and exerting the energy to do an exhaustive study of the seven churches. But there are additional reasons as well which are dealt with extensively in this book. The messages reveal what is acceptable and unacceptable to Jesus in the life of a church. They also reflect seven periods of church history. In addition, the messages explain a Christian's relationship to the group of believers with which they are associated. Furthermore, they stress the responsibility of every Christian to protect the spiritual welfare of the local church. Finally, these messages provide the proper perspective of what Jesus values most in a church. At the end of each message Jesus makes this statement: "Anyone with ears to hear must listen to the Spirit and understand what he is saying to the churches!" (Revelation 2:7; New Living Translation). The messages to the seven churches of the Apocalypse are as relevant today as they were when John received them. They are intended for anyone who has ears to hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Download or read book Revelations written by Elaine Pagels and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2012-03-06 with total page 253 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: A startling exploration of the history of the most controversial book of the Bible, by the bestselling author of Beyond Belief. Through the bestselling books of Elaine Pagels, thousands of readers have come to know and treasure the suppressed biblical texts known as the Gnostic Gospels. As one of the world's foremost religion scholars, she has been a pioneer in interpreting these books and illuminating their place in the early history of Christianity. Her new book, however, tackles a text that is firmly, dramatically within the New Testament canon: The Book of Revelation, the surreal apocalyptic vision of the end of the world . . . or is it? In this startling and timely book, Pagels returns The Book of Revelation to its historical origin, written as its author John of Patmos took aim at the Roman Empire after what is now known as "the Jewish War," in 66 CE. Militant Jews in Jerusalem, fired with religious fervor, waged an all-out war against Rome's occupation of Judea and their defeat resulted in the desecration of Jerusalem and its Great Temple. Pagels persuasively interprets Revelation as a scathing attack on the decadence of Rome. Soon after, however, a new sect known as "Christians" seized on John's text as a weapon against heresy and infidels of all kinds-Jews, even Christians who dissented from their increasingly rigid doctrines and hierarchies. In a time when global religious violence surges, Revelations explores how often those in power throughout history have sought to force "God's enemies" to submit or be killed. It is sure to appeal to Pagels's committed readers and bring her a whole new audience who want to understand the roots of dissent, violence, and division in the world's religions, and to appreciate the lasting appeal of this extraordinary text.

Book The Seven Mountain Prophecy

Download or read book The Seven Mountain Prophecy written by Johnny Enlow and published by Charisma Media. This book was released on 2008 with total page 210 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: God is preparing a spiritual tsunami to sweep the nations and reclaim our culture for Christ, says author Johnny Enlow. He describes seven culture-shaping areas of influence over each society--media, government, education, economy, family, religion, and celebration (arts and entertainment)--that are the keys to taking a nation for the kingdom of God. The purpose of this book is to draw the church's attention to these areas; help each individual determine his or her specific assignment in this mission; and then to offer insight into the nature of the battles involved in this "spiritual tsunami," as the author calls it. Many Christians do not grasp that God's favor for us to succeed is already upon us and is part of His end-time strategy to establish Jesus as Ruler of the Nations before His return. Readers will come to understand that this favor is divinely strategic and corresponds to the place of each person's ministry assignment. Many have a spiritual poverty vision and poor eschatology, two factors that have robbed us of our blessing and caused us to fail to reclaim cultural influences for Christ. The book is laid out to address these two misunderstandings, with the first several chapters specifically aimed at correcting lack of vision and misguided understanding of the end times. Each chapter that follows provides intensive, detailed study of each "mountain" of influence, how it will be taken and by whom, and what resistance will be encountered by individuals assigned to claim this mountain.
