The present Encyclopedia will be very useful for libraries in ICAR's National Institutes and other Institutes/ Bureaus/ Research Centres/ Directorates/ Coordinating Units and Agricultural Universities and other Universities/Organizations, where work related to various aspects of agriculture like crops, plantation crops, horticultural crops, animals, fish, agriculture and market policies etc. is done. As regards class of persons, to whom this may be useful are research scholars/students, scientists, teachers, officials in agricultural departments of Centre and States, policy makers, persons associated with farmers' organizations/unions and NGO's etc.
