Book Encouraging Words Can Make a Difference

Download or read book Encouraging Words Can Make a Difference written by Johnnie Rembert and published by . This book was released on 2021-03-10 with total page 40 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Sometimes we all need an encouraging word to help us move forward from a difficult situation or to even help us with our own thoughts of self-doubt and insecurity. An encouraging word can be shared with everyone regardless of their age, gender, color, background, or religious beliefs. Some of these poems stemmed from my own feelings and were planted in my soul from listening to my family and my friends throughout the years. I hope these poems will encourage someone to know that they are not alone with their struggles. I want everyone to know that we can be on different stages of life, and still deal with some of the same emotions that causes us to have feelings of self-doubt, insecurity, and fear. I am grateful that God speaks to me through the words of the Holy Bible and through my family. I faithfully believe that an encouraging word can be planted to spread healing. I also wholeheartedly believe that an encouraging word can give hope to others when they are feeling down and may not have the strength to encourage themselves. Just knowing that someone cares enough to speak a positive word in my life, helped me to feel stronger, and motivated me to share poems of inspiration to speak encouraging words to others.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Words of Encouragement is a melody of poems, which were written to remind us that life is not all about gloom and doom. I am here to tell you that there is a way, and his name is Jesus Christ, our Lord and savior. He is the "light in this dark world that we presently live in."My words are written to tell us it is time to awaken to his many grace, mercies, and blessings we are receiving. And for those who have received, they should be the most grateful. Our lives will always be about the uncertainties, which keeps us oftentimes in fear.Let us find a rejoicing heart, a quiet soul, and the peace of mind that is given by our Lord. Come out from under the darkness. Are we not tired of our lifeless bodies? What are we hiding from? Where we are hiding from? What is holding you back? Our Lord can fix it all. These are questions we need to take time to ponder upon. So if you believe that by faith you are being called, take the challenge and answer the call. Our Lord is He who saves us. Remember the many times he has saved us even from ourselves. So again I am asking you to answer the wake-up call. Our time is now, while hope is alive. While grace and mercies abound. Our Lord is the "light" at the beginning and the end of that tunnel you are lost in.Seek that everlasting love, peace, and joy by believing that God is your only source and resource.I hope you enjoy the book and wish to encourage you, to make changes where changes need to be made. May God bless you all.

Book Love Out Loud

  • Release : 2011-11-02
  • ISBN : 1455505110
  • Pages : 384 pages

Download or read book Love Out Loud written by Joyce Meyer and published by FaithWords. This book was released on 2011-11-02 with total page 384 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Jesus said, "You must love the Lord your God with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." - Luke10:27 If one had to choose a single verse in the Bible that is a formula for successful living, this would be the one to live by, says Joyce Meyer: love God, yourself and others - in that order. Many Christians get mixed up about love. They know they should love God and others, but many do not understand that loving oneself is one-third of God's equation. They mistakenly think of it as selfishness or self-aggrandizement. Joyce Meyer believes that this misconception is one of the greatest pitfalls in the Christian journey. Loving oneself in a balanced, healthy manner is essential in order to have healthy relationships with God, ourselves and others. Drawing upon her previous work and teaching series as well as original devotions, the author of Power Thoughts examines the three loves that we've been commanded to exhibit.

Book A Walk Beside Me

Book excerpt: Deann and her husband, George, were making a life for themselves in their native Colorado, working hard to make ends meet and relishing the joys of having two children. But one of them, three-year-old Luke, was getting around slowly and still not walking. When they learned that he had Duchene muscular dystrophy, their lives were changed forever. Doctors told the couple that their son would live until his late teens or early twenties, and while the news was devastating, their prayers to the Lord and relationship with God helped them enjoy every single moment they had together as a family. In this memoir, Deann celebrates her son, who touched so many lives in a short period of time. He always had a smile on his face, and he never let obstacles get in his way. Through his actions, he inspired everyone around him to live out loud. Luke always gave a helping hand, and his purpose in life was to share the love in his heart. His life will inspire you to overcome obstacles and recognize the importance of cherishing the ones you love.
