It outlines the general components of the community based management of acute malnutrition (CMAM) program in detail i.e. OTP, SC, SFP and community mobilization. It further covers the principal objectives of the project and the activities being carried out to meet those objectives. Capacity building of health staff, routine monitoring and supervision visits are some of the many activities carried out to meet project requirements. The paper covers a section on WHO Sphere standards and how the project compares to these expected standards and attempts to give variance explanations. The project has taken great strides in trying to improve the lives of the community and thus this paper documents the progress made to date and makes recommendations accordingly for future reference. The month of April marked the start of the hunger gap and as part of the project requirements, a SMART nutrition survey was conducted and this is discussed briefly on the paper. South Sudan is a very young and developing nation so the paper seeks to make recommendations on good health policies and strategies to ensure the nation remains in sync with other nations in providing proper health care practices.

Africa is one of the continents most affected by this trend. This research is focusing on the protection of internally displaced people in South Sudan after the crises that erupted in 2013. It tries to identify challenges and gaps and sheets light on possible solutions. The research is carried through qualitative methods, data collected through semi-structure interview with key informants and observation. The finding of this study provides evident that contributes to the process towards realization of internally displaced persons in post-conflict-affected situation. The finding here indicates that in the context of South Sudan, it is only when other factors are inter-connected with war, can displacement be induced. This dissertation sees the upcoming implementation of revitalized peace agreement as an excellent opportunity for realization of IDPs problems and working towards finding lasting solution in South Sudan. It recommends adoption of IDPs legal and normative framework.

The run time per sample analysis of 15.0 min suggests the high throughput of the proposed method. From the results of all the validation parameters, the method proposed here can be useful for therapeutic drug monitoring both for analysis of routine samples of single dose or multiple dose pharmacokinetics and also for the clinical trial samples.

The increased incidence of lung cancer because smoking, cirrhosis because of alcoholism in many developed countries, the surge in the incidence of oral cancer in India due to pan chewing habits are some classical examples to demonstrate the influence of culture on health and oral health. It is now fairly established that the cultural factors are deeply involved in the whole way of life, like in the matters of nutrition, immunization, personal hygiene, family planning, child rearing, seeking early medical care, disposal of solid wastes and human excreta etc. All cultural practices are not harmful. Every human has the culturally ingrained habit of cleaning or brushing the teeth early in the morning. The use of soap for personal hygiene, oil massaging, exposure of the new born to sunlight etc are some cultural practices that needs to be encouraged. The inclination to get into the habits of smoking, alcoholism, drug addiction in the name of civilization among the younger generation needs to be countered at the earliest, otherwise, it may have a huge deleterious impact on the health status of the generation to come. Keeping in mind, the very significant role, the culture plays on health and oral health, this topic of library dissertation is taken up to review the available literature on effects of key cultural factors on health and oral health.

The Bible provided a foundation through which the South Sudanese could distinguish themselves from the Arab and Muslim Sudanese to the north and understand themselves as a spiritual community now freed from their oppressors. Less than three years later, however, new conflicts emerged along ethnic lines within South Sudan, belying the liberation theology that had supposedly reached its climactic conclusion with independence. In Chosen Peoples, Christopher Tounsel investigates the centrality of Christian worldviews to the ideological construction of South Sudan and the inability of shared religion to prevent conflict. Exploring the creation of a colonial-era mission school to halt Islam's spread up the Nile, the centrality of biblical language in South Sudanese propaganda during the Second Civil War (1983--2005), and postindependence transformations of religious thought in the face of ethnic warfare, Tounsel highlights the potential and limitations of deploying race and Christian theology to unify South Sudan.
