Book excerpt: The world is going through a divine eclipse known as COVID-19 that started in China and has since spread around the globe. Have you wondered about the meaning of this unusual event? God has an answer. He downloaded this over 130,000 words message to me in a month! The sheer size of the message and my ability to write it down within such a short time is itself a miracle. The download started on pi day, 3/14/2020. The message is itself based on the pi verse, John 3:14: “And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up,” John 3:14 NKJV. This COVID-19 quarantine is to humble us so we look up at the ultimate Humble Pi (e): Jesus Christ. The prophecy of COVID-19 is our final warning to seek salvation through Jesus before He comes back again as King of kings; AND it’s another pi verse! “Behold, I am coming quickly! Blessed is he who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book.” Revelation 22:7 NKJV. COVID-19 is just the initial birth pains of the Second Coming. COVID-19 came as a forewarning because the world is caught up in a Satanic system that’s now ripe for the arrival of the antiChrist. This global system rules over our lives from religion, politics, economics, culture and art. Read this book to see how COVID-19 came to eclipse and expose this system, and to learn how to escape the snare of the antiChrist system. Read to learn hidden knowledge exposed here FOR THE FIRST TIME by use of secret codes hidden in the divine meaning of Biblical numbers and names. This book will turn your understanding of the world as you know it upside-down, and you will realize that we have been living a lie. COVID-19 is for the revealing of Second Elijah. It is he who writes these words. He’s come to fulfil Malachi 4:5-6: “Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet Before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord. And he will turn The hearts of the fathers to the children, And the hearts of the children to their fathers, Lest I come and strike the earth with a curse.” This book is for the salvation of souls, and the world. It is God's first sickle swipe in His harvest of souls before "the dreadful day of the LORD." Read it and pass on to your family and friends.

Book excerpt: "In "Redemption from Tyranny," Bruce Stewart proposes to examine the life of Herman Husband, one of many ordinary revolutionaries who felt that the lofty principles of the Declaration had been betrayed by the ratification of the Constitution, which they thought preserved the concentration of wealth in the hands of the few and threatened the livelihoods of "labouring, industrious people." A Regulator and a pamphleteer who played a key role in the Whiskey Rebellion, Husband offers a valuable lens through which we can view how ordinary people shaped - and were shaped by - the American Revolution."--

Book Beyond Redemption

Download or read book Beyond Redemption written by Carole Emberton and published by University of Chicago Press. This book was released on 2013-06-10 with total page 294 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In the months after the end of the Civil War, there was one word on everyone’s lips: redemption. From the fiery language of Radical Republicans calling for a reconstruction of the former Confederacy to the petitions of those individuals who had worked the land as slaves to the white supremacists who would bring an end to Reconstruction in the late 1870s, this crucial concept informed the ways in which many people—both black and white, northerner and southerner—imagined the transformation of the American South. Beyond Redemption explores how the violence of a protracted civil war shaped the meaning of freedom and citizenship in the new South. Here, Carole Emberton traces the competing meanings that redemption held for Americans as they tried to come to terms with the war and the changing social landscape. While some imagined redemption from the brutality of slavery and war, others—like the infamous Ku Klux Klan—sought political and racial redemption for their losses through violence. Beyond Redemption merges studies of race and American manhood with an analysis of post-Civil War American politics to offer unconventional and challenging insight into the violence of Reconstruction.

Download or read book How To Read T F Torrance written by Elmer M. Colyer and published by Wipf and Stock Publishers. This book was released on 2007-12-01 with total page 394 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Thomas F. Torrance is regarded as one of the foremost Reformed theologians of the second half of the twentieth century. He taught for thirty years at New College, University of Edinburgh, Scotland, until his retirement in 1979. He has written extensively, contributing more than twenty major works of theology and hundreds of articles in a variety of languages. In this book Elmer Coyler provides access to Torrance's voluminous writings. Demonstrating the profoundly trinitarian and evangelical spirit of Torrance's theology, Coyler also captures his concern to formulate a renewed theological method in the tradition of Athanasius. Coyler helps us see how, in Torrance's view and practice, a truly scientific approach must be godly in order to be accurate and faithful.

Book France s New Deal

  • Author : Philip Nord
  • Publisher : Princeton University Press

  • ISBN : 1400834961
  • Pages : 474 pages

Download or read book France s New Deal written by Philip Nord and published by Princeton University Press. This book was released on 2012-08-26 with total page 474 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: France's New Deal is an in-depth and important look at the remaking of the French state after World War II, a time when the nation was endowed with brand-new institutions for managing its economy and culture. Yet, as Philip Nord reveals, the significant process of state rebuilding did not begin at the Liberation. Rather, it got started earlier, in the waning years of the Third Republic and under the Vichy regime. Tracking the nation's evolution from the 1930s through the postwar years, Nord describes how a variety of political actors--socialists, Christian democrats, technocrats, and Gaullists--had a hand in the construction of modern France. Nord examines the French development of economic planning and a cradle-to-grave social security system; and he explores the nationalization of radio, the creation of a national cinema, and the funding of regional theaters. Nord shows that many of the policymakers of the Liberation era had also served under the Vichy regime, and that a number of postwar institutions and policies were actually holdovers from the Vichy era--minus the authoritarianism and racism of those years. From this perspective, the French state after the war was neither entirely new nor purely social-democratic in inspiration. The state's complex political pedigree appealed to a range of constituencies and made possible the building of a wide base of support that remained in place for decades to come. A nuanced perspective on the French state's postwar origins, France's New Deal chronicles how one modern nation came into being.

Kenner Lane grew up struggling in the unforgiving Alaskan interior. He knew what it meant to be freezing cold and how to avoid it. Move away. Joining the Navy the day after high school graduation was step one. Becoming a SEAL was step two. Subzero temperatures for months had been all the motivation he’d needed to earn his Trident. Now medically retired and a Holt Agency employee, he went where they paid him to go. Even if that meant guiding a bunch of women through his godforsaken birth state. Lieutenant Piper Knight always expected the best of herself. She would have made the Olympic swim team but instead took a commission in the United States Navy. She’d been accused of being half fish because of her love of all things water related; swimming, snorkeling, SCUBA diving, even fishing. Completing the Joint All-Female Special Operations School at the top and joining Black Swan Team 2 accomplished her next goals. However, she had never aspired to go to Alaska in the dead of winter, hunting what might be nothing more than a high school science experiment gone wrong. Opposites can attract but can Piper get Kenner past his preconceived notions of women and his loathing of the cold and allow her to warm his heart?
