Las obras contenidas en el presente volumen están consideradas como las más importantes e influyentes de Aristóteles y son: “Metafísica”, “Ética a Nicómaco”, “Política” y “Retórica”.

Es en este tratado, más específicamente en el libro III, donde el filósofo presenta su influyente teoría del intelecto activo y el intelecto pasivo. A lo largo de su obra, Aristóteles abordó una amplia gama de temas y dejó un legado duradero en la filosofía y la ciencia occidentales.
