Book Lezioni di macroeconomia con esercitazioni

Download or read book Lezioni di macroeconomia con esercitazioni written by Luigi Balletta and published by EGEA spa. This book was released on 2020-03-27T00:00:00+01:00 with total page 221 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Women in Business

Download or read book Women in Business written by Paola Demartini and published by . This book was released on 2019 with total page 168 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: [The role of women in entrepreneurship, management and corporate governance is regarded as central to the development and welfare of economies. Since the early 1980s, there has been increased interest in women managers and entrepreneurs, often from an interdisciplinary approach, combining, for example, sociology, psychology, management and organisational studies and economics. Nowadays, research on women in management and organisations is continuously and rapidly evolving (Paoloni and Demartini, 2016). Research on how women face new business challenges within organisations--as entrepreneurs, owners, managers, as well as workers--can contribute to understanding the new drivers affecting value creation dynamics in our knowledge-based society (Cesaroni, Demartini and Paoloni, 2017). Accordingly, this book tries to offer some insights on how women create, process and share knowledge in their business activity through the application and exploitation of novel creative ideas and solutions].

Book A Macroeconomic Analysis of Profit

Download or read book A Macroeconomic Analysis of Profit written by Andrea Carrera and published by Routledge. This book was released on 2019-04-09 with total page 174 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Based on the observation of economic reality, this book provides for the foundations of a new structure of national payment systems. Specifically, to this end, a rigorous accounting for money transactions, savings, and invested profit is suggested, with a major aim to settle sustainable lending levels. Profit lies at the heart of economic activities. Indeed, companies, from small to large, seek net gains to remunerate shareholders and to increase their assets. Yet, economists are far from sharing a common theory of profit. Using mathematical tools and a discursive approach, this book contributes to the debates in such regard, in the attempt to provide new answers to old economic issues. What is macroeconomic profit? Is there any relationship between wages, lending, and profit? This book is an accesible resource for economists and financial experts as well as global economics students, researchers, academics and historians alike. It will challenge policy-makers and professionals and lead them on a thought-provoking journey through the realm of macroeconomics.

Book The New Ideal Worker

Download or read book The New Ideal Worker written by Mireia las Heras Maestro and published by Springer. This book was released on 2019-06-29 with total page 271 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many managers and organizations still assume that employees who devote long hours to their jobs with no family interference are “ideal workers”. However, this assumption has negative consequences for employees, their families and, more interestingly, for their organizations. This book provides a wealth of empirical evidence from around the globe, as well as innovative conceptual frameworks, to help practitioners and researchers alike to go beyond the classic notion of the “ideal worker” and to rethink what companies actually need from their employees. As it demonstrates, doing so will be beneficial for countless men and women, and for society at large.
