She has edited and published a book of her mother's columns from The Western Breeze, a Cut Bank newspaper, and has written two poetry books. For a dozen years, she performed her poetry at various cowboy gatherings in the state. She has written Rachel, a fact-based historical novel set in Pennsylvania in the early 1800s, and Scattered by the Winds, a western novel set in the late 1800s.
