Book Educar sin maltratar

Download or read book Educar sin maltratar written by David Solá and published by Tyndale House. This book was released on 2014-09-01 with total page 227 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Educar sin maltratar es un arte que pocos padres consiguen. Como ocurre con otras artes, no es que sea muy difícil o que esté reservado para privilegiados; sencillamente hay que aprenderlo. Cuando se habla de maltrato, no solo nos referimos a la violencia física sino también a la psicológica que de una forma consciente o inconsciente se aplica sistemáticamente a los hijos. Teaching our children without mistreating them is an art that few parents can master. This type of art is not as difficult as other arts and it is not exclusively reserved for privileged people; it simply must be learned. When we speak about mistreating our children, we don’t only mean physical mistreatment, but also psychological violence that is systematically applied to children, consciously or unconsciously.

Book El Impacto del Maltrato contra Envejecidos en el Componente F sico Emocional y Social desde la Percepci n de Cinco Profesionales de la Salud

Download or read book El Impacto del Maltrato contra Envejecidos en el Componente F sico Emocional y Social desde la Percepci n de Cinco Profesionales de la Salud written by Grisel M. Maisonet Amador M. S. W. and published by Palibrio. This book was released on 2012 with total page 121 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book excerpt: How to help--and cope with--the difficult child Expanded and completely revised, the classic and definitive work on parenting hard-to-raise children with new sections on ADHD and the latest medications for childhood disorders. Temperamentally difficult children can confuse and upset even experienced parents and teachers. They often act defiant, stubborn, loud, aggressive, or hyperactive. This landmark book has been completely revised to include the latest information on ADHD, medications, and a reassuring approach to all aspects of childhood behavioral disorders. Book Breve diccionario etimologico de la lengua espanola

Download or read book Breve diccionario etimologico de la lengua espanola written by Guido Gómez de Silva and published by Emerald Group Publishing. This book was released on 1985 with total page 559 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The main purpose of this etymological dictionary is to trace each Spanish word as far back as possible in order to acquaint the reader with the history of the evolution of the Spanish language; another of its aims is to help students learn vocabulary, e.g., the English word 'sky' does not help English speaking persons learn the Spanish work 'cielo' but the English word 'celestial' does. Etymology is the history of words, and, as words stand for things, it is also the history of things, and therefore of civilisation. The words analyzed in this dictionary cover every area of human endeavor, including science and technology; in addition to words, the book contains certain phrases, and many affixes. Although some Spanish words are not of Indo-European origin, most of them are. In view of the proportion of words with similar etymologies in certain languages, this Spanish etymological dictionary can also be used to find the origin of thousands of English, French, Italian and Portuguese words as well as that of many words from other languages. Many Indo-European roots are represented in Spanish words and therefore this dictionary forms a complete picture of Indo-European etymology. This etymological dictionary is of great value to all those working with, or interested in, the Spanish language. As a reference work it should be on the shelves of school, university and general public libraries as well as other appropriate reference libraries. It is of particular value to students and teachers of Spanish and to translators and conference interpreters.

Book Un Ni o Con Futuro Es Un Ni o Con L mites

Download or read book Un Ni o Con Futuro Es Un Ni o Con L mites written by Luis Gonzalo Marulanda Lozada and published by Luis Gonzalo Marulanda Lozada. This book was released on 2019-03-26 with total page 64 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Children Crossing Borders

Download or read book Children Crossing Borders written by Joseph Tobin and published by Russell Sage Foundation. This book was released on 2013-10-31 with total page 163 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In many school districts in America, the majority of students in preschools are children of recent immigrants. For both immigrant families and educators, the changing composition of preschool classes presents new and sometimes divisive questions about educational instruction, cultural norms and academic priorities. Drawing from an innovative study of preschools across the nation, Children Crossing Borders provides the first systematic comparison of the beliefs and perspectives of immigrant parents and the preschool teachers to whom they entrust their children. Children Crossing Borders presents valuable evidence from the U.S. portion of a landmark five-country study on the intersection of early education and immigration. The volume shows that immigrant parents and early childhood educators often have differing notions of what should happen in preschool. Most immigrant parents want preschool teachers to teach English, prepare their children academically, and help them adjust to life in the United States. Many said it was unrealistic to expect a preschool to play a major role in helping children retain their cultural and religious values. The authors examine the different ways that language and cultural differences prevent immigrant parents and school administrations from working together to achieve educational goals. For their part, many early education teachers who work with immigrant children find themselves caught between two core beliefs: on one hand, the desire to be culturally sensitive and responsive to parents, and on the other hand adhering to their core professional codes of best practice. While immigrant parents generally prefer traditional methods of academic instruction, many teachers use play-based curricula that give children opportunities to be creative and construct their own knowledge. Worryingly, most preschool teachers say they have received little to no training in working with immigrant children who are still learning English. For most young children of recent immigrants, preschools are the first and most profound context in which they confront the conflicts between their home culture and the United States. Policymakers and educators, however, are still struggling with how best to serve these children and their parents. Children Crossing Borders provides valuable research on these questions, and on the ways schools can effectively and sensitively incorporate new immigrants into the social fabric.
