EAT calls for the participant to eat only when hungry, and to stop when comfortable. No particular diet is recommended; specific techniques are: trusting one's body (not one's mind) ; staying in the present; paying attention (eating without interference or distraction); and practicing amnesia (disregarding previous food and eating notions).
