Book excerpt: In an effort to implement the curriculum, it is urgent that material development be synergized with the curriculum so as to meet its proper and applicable implementation. A number of grants have been awarded to our faculty members for designing instructional materials. Systematical arrangement of instructional materials is to minimize the gap between planned curriculum and implemented curriculum. FTTE UMM keeps striving to develop curriculum through a long-listed agenda: designing course outlines, materials, media, and evaluation instruments. Those four key components fulfill the National Standard of Higher Education. Until recently, FTTE UMM has developed instructional materials for 27 selected courses, comprising 9 pedagogy courses and 18 content specific courses. This Speaking book is the manifestation of our incessant contribution to the field of education. Not only does it contain several relevant topics, but it is equipped with various activities to accommodate students with active, meaningful, and independent learning as well. It is then specially wrapped in the form of hybrid learning materials. Finally, it is highly expected that FTTE UMM, through its continuous efforts, could achieve the standards as stipulated by the Curriculum of Higher Education, aiming for the National Standard of Higher Education in Indonesia.
Download or read book Grow Your Wings Fly Away and Build Your Nest written by John Jakasal and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2012-11 with total page 134 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Grenadian Experience Shines Like a Caribbean Jewel in this Book of Personal History John Jakasal poetically presents the soul of Grenada and how it can survive and prosper as world renowned "Isle of Spice" with his life as an example. USA, The Caribbean & Globally Grenadian writer and author John Jakasal weaves "the cobweb that hides two paths in life" in the eminently readable memoir Grow Your Wings, Fly Away And Build Your Nest. Sharing his family background and life story, he spins illuminating connections to Grenadian history through the colonial phase and compares it to the modern, complex fruit of that history to rekindle the island's spicy reputation and agricultural foundation that has seemingly lost its colors diminished by the annual hurricanes. He discusses what it means to be a Grenadian American as chief Technologist, Professor in the school of Radiology Technology and Clinical Instructor. His kind finds itself readily accepted in New York City, a place known for its homogenous international culture. His story may be unusual to many, but it is given serious consideration in this eye-opening memoir of a young man from humble beginnings who worked hard, left his parents' home, never forgetting from where he came, became independent, owes not a single man, and now comfortably retired. Author John Jakasal's textual path dances on the light of his spider's web, and the dance of the spider as he weaves a vision of home, of a place to live and make a living in an agricultural safety net. Yet the delicate nature of Grenada's present is also present in the proceedings. The spider's web is a delicate, gossamer beauty and it is Jakasal's brilliant poetic view of his mother island; little Grenada swamped by waves modernism and highwood. In Jakasal, as well as in the strong moral heart of his book, lie all things Grenadian: The island beauty and its blessed clime, the physical points of national identity that are still remarkably untouched despite the onslaught of modernity. This is further refined into an appreciation of how America is a place of opportunity for anyone willing. A place where a Grenadian's native qualities can shine. Jakasal gives readers the taste of native Grenadian stew in this work, and it is an experience both filling and a taste everyone of his readers will remember with an appreciation of the nation and the people that made it.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: We had to do it. We had to reprint this book. Rarely has a book had such an impact on so many of us here at Ignatius Press. It is one of the most powerful and moving books we have come across. If you can only buy one book this season, this must be the one. Here is the astonishing true story of the harrowing experiences of a young German seminarian drafted into Hitler's dreaded SS at the onset of World War II. Without betraying his Christian ideals, against all odds, and in the face of Evil, Gereon Goldmann was able to complete his priestly training, be ordained, and secretly minister to German Catholic soldiers and innocent civilian victims caught up in the horrors of war. How it all came to pass will astound you. Father Goldmann tells of his own incredible experiences of the trials of war, his many escapes from almost certain death, and the diabolical persecution that he and his fellow Catholic soldiers encountered on account of their faith. What emerges is an extraordinary witness to the workings of Divine Providence and the undying power of love, prayer, faith, and sacrifice. Illustrated

It has a portion that speaks as if Jesus was here talking with a love that he would have. I like for my readers to see how, when youre in love, the way one expresses their feelings and thoughts out on paper. I basically did this to make a book. I liked expressing myself in these thoughts. I wanted to share these with you the readers. This is pretty much what this book is about. Did I mention it is not a PG either? It gets a bit steamy at times. You just have to use your imagination.

Harder than I anticipated. Being the Southern ghost that I am, I've followed all the rules strictly by the book. Well, almost. Some things don't count. Like kissing the lead sword-fighting instructor behind headquarters for the Council of Noble Purposes. And now, because someone snitched, I'm being dispatched on a solo mission to close a demonic portal opened by a bunch of trouble-making teenagers fooling around with a spirit board. An innocent Christmas party trick gone bad. Sure, it sounds harmless, but Saint Peter isn't laughing. Santa's unlikely sidekick, Krampus is loose and stirring up big trouble in Whiskey Creek, Georgia. With the countdown to Christmas ticking away, my only authorized equipment is one winged horse and a slick new pair of white leather chaps and bullwhip. Yay! Tis the season to be jolly. Now, where's my sleigh?
Download or read book So You ve Got Bugs written by Cailean Terence and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2011-03 with total page 240 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: So, you’ve got Bugs. How demons cause diseases, most notably; cancer, diabetes, dementia, bipolar syndrome and many others. This is a revealing of a long and well hidden truth about the essence of the spiritual element of the human soul. The world is currently in the throes of descending into an era of war, corruption, criminality, rioting, discontent, severe climate changes, etc, just as predicted in the book of Revelations and one of the main indicators of this is the dramatic, and exponentially rapidly increasing, incidence of auto-immune and psychological diseases. These diseases, despite decades or even millennia of research, have no known or determined chemical or physical initiation of the disease in afflicted people. This book explains how this all ties together and the reason for the existence of all religions and the effect thereon by acquiring a demon and how easy this can happen. No-one is immune to this disease and eternal vigilance is necessary to clear and maintain a pure soul. Here in I have described the manner in which the demon entity overrides the programming of the genome and the brain thought processes to cause aberrant behavior resulting in severe consequences to the spiritual cleanliness of inflicted people and then the method of clearing the demon from the soul permanently. The methodology has very strict rules which have to date never been explained and if not applied correctly will lead to the afflicted person becoming worse off than before (also biblical). I have drawn most of the knowledge herein from the Bible but also from other spiritual writings as well as personal experience.
Download or read book Purpose in the Fourth Quarter written by Bernie Brown and published by Inspiring Voices. This book was released on 2012-09-05 with total page 106 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Life can be perceived as a game very much like football, with four quarters and a break in the middle. In Purpose in the Fourth Quarter, author Bernie Brown describes how life is often difficult and challenging but can still be the most rewarding, satisfying, and wonderful game played on the face of the earth. As in the game of football, each quarter has a distinct purpose; in life, the fourth has some unique characteristics. Health and wealth can weigh heavily. In some cases there is a two minute warning or a sudden death overtime. One thing is certain, however the completion of the fourth quarter marks the end of the game. It is crucial that we understand the game, its rules and score-keeping, its progression and delays, and, most importantly, its true purpose. And, although we face new challenges as we age, the fourth quarter can be filled with just as much joy and purpose as the previous three. Like football, the goal of the game of life is to be victorious. What do you need to do to win? The answer may surprise you.
