In the translation, we show that the words of Lao-tzu are self-consistent and his words follow a definite logic. We can now interpret his words without much need for speculation. Lao-tzu provides a logical way to show the relationship between appearances and reality. We can see how his words point to the true reality of Tao, and eliminate the self-contradiction in the Tao Te Ching. The logic of Tao philosophy is consistently reflected in this translation of the Tao Te Ching. We also show Tao philosophy as a general philosophy, similar to the Western and Buddhist philosophies.
