Book excerpt: Conclusions: In 6 to 7 months from the time of vaccination, in guinea pigs inoculated with complex vaccine against plague, brucellosis, tularemia and anthrax, with complex vaccine against plague, tularemia, and brucellosis, and also the corresponding monovaccines, the intensity of immunity to each of the stated infections was sharply reduced. The lowering of the agglutination titers in the agglutination reaction with tularemia and brucellosis diagnostic preparations, an increase in the number of negative allergic reactions to brucellin and tularin, the significant death of pigs following their infection with virulent plague, tularemia and anthrax cultures, and the development of a generalized infectious process following infection with the brucellosis causative agent testified to the lowering of the intensity of immunity. The lowering of the intensity of immunity in guinea pigs inoculated with complex vaccines was expressed more sharply than in those inoculated with monovaccines. (Author).
