Book Ancestors of Clifford Earl McAllister Vol 1 Pedigree Charts

Download or read book Ancestors of Clifford Earl McAllister Vol 1 Pedigree Charts written by Diana Jean Muir and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2018-06-22 with total page 539 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The McAllister family. Clifford McAllister father comes from a family who joined the Mormon Church in Ireland and emigrated to the Americas in the 19th Century. Descended from the Ancient Kings of Ireland from Tara Castle, they first moved to Alabama and later moved to Indiana where they became business people, teachers, doctors, attorneys and soldiers. Clifford's mother's family came from England to Virginia in the early 1700s and soon moved to Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama. Related to Winston Churchill, Prime Minister of England, they descend from the Merovingians Kings of Normandy, Welsh Kings, William The Conqueror, Robert de Bruce of Scotland and the Sea-Kings of Norway. A compilation of everything that has been done by other members of the family, there is still a lot of research to be done, and lots to learn about individuals in this amazing genealogy. Descended from powerful, enigmatic leaders of the past, they have paved the way for our future.

Book Scots in the USA and Canada 1825 1875

Download or read book Scots in the USA and Canada 1825 1875 written by David Dobson and published by Genealogical Publishing Com. This book was released on 1998 with total page 106 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Although it is difficult to estimate the figure accurately, experts believe that 100,000 Scots emigrated to the United States or Canada during the middle of the nineteenth century. The majority of these emigrants were skilled, educated workers from urban industrial backgrounds whose expertise was in great demand in the rapidly industrializing cities of North America. For this book, the first of five in the series (see also Part Two, Part Three, Part Four, and Part Five), David Dobson, who has previously published the most extensive lists of Scottish immigrants to America during the colonial and early Federal periods in print, extends his coverage of Scottish immigration to the period 1825-1875. For the most part, his findings come from Scottish newspapers like the Aberdeen Journal, Fife Advertiser, Scottish Guardian, etc. as well as from a handful of documents in the Scottish Record Office and other archives. The Scottish expatriates identified by the compiler are arranged alphabetically and invariably give, besides the individual's full name, place of residence (country, state/province, or city), an identifying date, and the source of the information. In addition, many of the entries indicate the individual's date of birth, father's name and occupation or place of residence, spouse, or the name of the vessel upon which he arrived. In all Mr. Dobson has culled information on upwards of 2,000 Scotsmen who were residing in North America during the early Victorian era.

Book Ancestors of Timothy W Hogan Vol 2 Family Groups

Download or read book Ancestors of Timothy W Hogan Vol 2 Family Groups written by Diana J Muir and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2019-07-16 with total page 384 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The ancestors of Timothy Hogan can be traced from Greene County, Tennessee before the Civil War to Haddon Hall in Derbyshire, England where his ancestors were Lords and Ladies of ancient England and Wales. Many lines go back to the ancient leaders of Wales including Rhys aps Griffith and to the Merovingian Kings and Queens of Normandy, France. Timothy's Swedish line, which came to Iowa in the USA, came directly from Sweden where they can be traced back to the sea kings of Uppsala, Sweden in about 500 AD. Continuing back some of his European ancestors, they can be traced to Seleucus Nicator in ancient Syria, the father of Helen of Troy. It is easy to imagine that some of the members of the Hogan Family retained the ambition and traits of their ancient ancestors. Many of his forefathers in Colonial America were Freemasons and instrumental in forming the burgeoning American Nation. Book Ancestors of Clifford Earl McAllister Vol 2 Family Groups

Download or read book Ancestors of Clifford Earl McAllister Vol 2 Family Groups written by Diana Jean Muir and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2018-06-22 with total page 366 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Vol. 2 of the Ancestors of Clifford Earl McAllister includes the family groups of the first 50 of 58 generations. The McAllister family goes back almost 2000 years to ancient Wales and Ancient Ireland, and the Sea Kings of Norway. Related to Prince Henry Sinclair and Winston Churchill, the lines also go back to the Merovingian Kings of Normandy, France and the Welsh Kings in 100 AD. You might find discrepancies the further back you get as spellings vary, dates are estimated, and sometimes a title is included in the name. While original research was done for the first 8 generations, you should use information past that as a 'guide' and not an absolute.
