Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The baby aisle? It was the least place Miguel expected to find his Big. All he wanted was to buy a replacement for his sippy cup. Feeling out of place, Miguel also didn't expect to find the man of his dreams inside a shopping mall. And most of all, he never once thought he was going to come hunting for him, too. Miguel was a little awkward, shy and naive. With a sippy cup in his hand and the sparkle of his eyes for it, he might as well have a sign hanging from his neck with the word 'little' carved on it. He was desperate to keep it secret, but as much as he tried, he couldn't hide the littleness within him forever - and certainly not from a man like Noe. Becoming a little's Big again was not in Noe's plan that day. While chilling out in the supermarket's dining area, Noe never once suspected a beautiful young man would set his eyes on him. But when he finally noticed it and their eyes met, his whole body froze. He knew he couldn't lose that man for anything, but one glance away and he was gone. Certain that he couldn't give up, Noe soon found Miguel exploring an aisle where he fit in like a glove. And when he realized that Miguel was a little in hiding, he couldn't help but succumb again to the temptations he'd been suppressing for years. In this book, you will be following a sweet story of bonding and connection. Get ready for some cuteness overload as both Miguel and Noe break down every barrier that stands between them during their unlikely journey. Note: this book features ABDL and MM age play. If you are not comfortable with these topics, then it might not be for you. HEA included. Characters are 18+.

ENGLISH DESCRIPTION An international phenomenon now available in America for the first time, this quick, no-nonsense guide is all you need to get your child to sleep through the night (pillow not included). These days, most books on improving your child's sleep take either a tough-love approach (ignore crying) or a soothing strategy (offer continuous comfort). But now an internationally renowned sleep expert provides a middle-ground method that will have your child sleeping through the night at any age. Dr. Eduard Estivill's no-fail technique focuses on a mixture of authority, ritual, and reward. Parents can end negative cycles of resistance and wakefulness and feel as rested as their child will by following these expert tips: • Adopt a firm and confident attitude (your child will pick up on your mood). • Use meals as a cue to announce your child's next nap or nighttime sleep. • Incorporate appropriate elements (such as a stuffed animal or a pacifier) at bedtime so your child will not rely on you as a vital part of the sleep process. • Reinforce the contrast between light (day) and dark (night). • Never punish children by making them go to bed (it sends the wrong message about sleep time). • Learn what to say before—and after—the light is turned off. Complete with special techniques to use with newborns, plus an invaluable question-and-answer section that addresses specific concerns (children sleeping in their parents' bed, how divorced parents can work together, special-needs children), this sanity-saving guide promises sweet dreams for all

Book The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems

Download or read book The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems written by Tracy Hogg and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2010-05-11 with total page 416 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Baby Whisperer gives new parents everything they need to tackle the challenges of sleep, eating habits, tantrums, growth issues, and more! The Baby Whisperer Solves All Your Problems is an in-depth look at the most challenging issues faced by parents of babies and young children today. The book goes beyond the basics introduced in her first two books, becoming a compendium of specific and targeted parenting strategies. Each chapter tackles a different topic, from teaching babies to sleep, feeding techniques, potty training, and much more. Hogg will also discuss her two new Baby Whispering concepts, which are being patient and conscious and learning to detect “prime times”—windows of opportunity for sleep training, introducing bottles (in breast-fed babies), sippy cups, toilet training, and much more. Once you learn how to translate banguage, the “baby-language” your infant uses to communicate needs, feelings, and opinions, you can see your child for who he or she really is—an understanding that will serve you well as your child blossoms into the toddler years. By helping you establish a daily routine and tailor your parenting strategies according to your child’s unique personality and stage of development, Tracy will teach you how to: • Employ the Twelve Principles of Problem Solving—simple troubleshooting techniques for everyday situations • Avoid, or remedy, accidental parenting—inadvertent adult behavior that often leads to such common parenting challenges as sleep problems, poor eating habits, separation anxiety, and tantrums • Identify windows of opportunity for teaching babies how to get to sleep on their own, introducing bottles to breast-fed babies, toilet training, and other growth issues For Tracy’s fans, this book will be a welcome addition to the Hogg library; for readers unfamiliar with her philosophy of care, it will open a new world of understanding and insight.

Download or read book Cradle to Kindergarten written by Ajay Chaudry and published by Russell Sage Foundation. This book was released on 2021-03-25 with total page 285 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Early care and education for many children in the United States is in crisis. The period between birth and kindergarten is a critical time for child development, and socioeconomic disparities that begin early in children’s lives contribute to starkly different long-term outcomes for adults. Yet, compared to other advanced economies, high-quality child care and preschool in the United States are scarce and prohibitively expensive for many middle-class and most disadvantaged families. To what extent can early-life interventions provide these children with the opportunities that their affluent peers enjoy and contribute to reduced social inequality in the long term? Cradle to Kindergarten offers a comprehensive, evidence-based strategy that diagnoses the obstacles to accessible early education and charts a path to opportunity for all children. The U.S. government invests less in children under the age of five than do most other developed nations. Most working families must seek private childcare, which means that children from low-income households, who would benefit most from high-quality early education, are the least likely to attend them. Existing policies, such as pre-kindergarten in some states are only partial solutions. To address these deficiencies, the authors propose to overhaul the early care system, beginning with a federal paid parental leave policy that provides both mothers and fathers with time and financial support after the birth of a child. They also advocate increased public benefits, including an expansion of the child care tax credit, and a new child care assurance program that subsidizes the cost of early care for low- and moderate-income families. They also propose that universal, high-quality early education in the states should start by age three, and a reform of the Head Start program that would include more intensive services for families living in areas of concentrated poverty and experiencing multiple adversities from the earliest point in these most disadvantaged children’s lives. They conclude with an implementation plan and contend that these reforms are attainable within a ten-year timeline. Reducing educational and economic inequalities requires that all children have robust opportunities to learn, fully develop their capacities, and have a fair shot at success. Cradle to Kindergarten presents a blueprint for fulfilling this promise by expanding access to educational and financial resources at a critical stage of child development.
