Book excerpt: Bill, Merlin, Happy, and Kay are among the porn-film performers and producers who tell their stories to Dr. Robert J. Stoller in this pschyodynamic ethnography of adult heterosexual pornography. Their engrossing accounts reveal in rich detail not only the inner workings of "the Industry" and the fantasies and motivations of its participants but also the relation between this most denigrated of occupations and "normal" human erotic behavior and attitudes. Consistently nonjudgmental about the material he presents, Dr. Stoller nevertheless draws provocative conclusions about porn, its practitioners, and its effects on society. Everyone at work on a porn production, he says, uses it as a vehicle for unloading his or her rage against something--mores, institutions, laws, parents, females, or males. According to Dr. Stoller, pornography does not exist only to degrade women, there is no reliable evidence that it increases the frequency of rape, and (with the exception of child porn) it does little harm. Pornography, says Dr. Stoller, seems more the result of our changing society than a cause of change; it reflects, more than influences, our values and mores.

Book excerpt: Is the risk worth the reward? It was a time to gather with the allies to witness the wedding of a president and his ol’ lady in front of the three powerful clubs that rule western Pennsylvania. The Bloody Fury MC. The Dark Knights MC. And of course, Crash’s own club, the Dirty Angels MC. Three tight-knit brotherhoods celebrating a weekend blow-out full of women, partying and more. For Crash, it may end up being so much more. She’s the property of another club. Property he can’t resist touching. But taking what he wants means risking a crack in the alliance, one he doesn’t want to be responsible for. Creating an issue he doesn’t need to cause for his MC. For his president. But Crash has never been one to blindly follow the rules. Especially when it comes to someone so tempting. In the end, she ends up being a risk he can’t stop from taking. To hell with the consequences. Note: While this book can be read as a standalone, it’s a crossover between the Dirty Angels MC series and the Blood Fury MC series. It’s best read after the complete DAMC series and before Blood & Bones: Ozzy (Blood Fury MC, book 9). As always, this book has no cheating, no cliffhanger and has an HEA.

Book The Price of Pussy

  • Author : Sherman L. Brandon
  • Publisher : Xlibris Corporation
  • Release : 2020-03-25
  • ISBN : 1796092223

Download or read book The Price of Pussy written by Sherman L. Brandon and published by Xlibris Corporation. This book was released on 2020-03-25 with total page 151 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Price of Pussy is based on the sexual power women hold over the world. This book shows what men and women will do to enjoy the irresistible pleasure of a woman’s sexual relation. The Price of Pussy is a novel based on the reality of life. Ms. Neta is the mother of three girls: Arrika, Marshalee, and Beatra. She is also the mother of one son, Craig, who gets badly injured over “the price of pussy.” Ms. Neta is married to the Game. She teaches her three daughters, along with her two play daughters, Amber and Stacey, the game of life. Ms. Neta makes it clear to them the real price of pussy. Her philosophy is told like no other. Stacey plays the ultimate price for selling her goods cheap. Ms Neta warns her girls of the dangers and consequences of giving. You could call them hoes, prostitutes or even gold diggers. But one thing we’ll never be able to call them is “stupid.” Because to a man, the price of pussy may seem to be a little expensive. However, to a woman who knows the value of her life, “the price of pussy” is considered “priceless.” The message is far bigger than the title. To both men and women that lay around carelessly, look in the mirror and ask yourself, “What is my price? What am I worth?”

Book Going Within to Get Out

Download or read book Going Within to Get Out written by Anonymous Girl and published by BalboaPress. This book was released on 2013-12-04 with total page 411 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: ...the minute I picked this book up I was on an emotional rollercoaster. It was the most amazing journey to find myself crying one minute and laughing the next with the authors infectious wit and undeniable honesty. The diary entries are so raw and vulnerable, and have been written in a way that I have never experienced before. I identified with many things throughout the book and found myself recalling significant events from my own adolescent years that I believed I had blocked or forgotten about. At times it felt like there was nowhere to hide; the words I was reading were so confronting it felt as though they were written just for me! Taking this journey with the author allowed me to deal with what was coming up for me personally, and move past those feelings to a place that felt good for me. With every page that I read I couldnt believe how I was not only totally enthralled in the authors personal life story, but that I was actually also uncovering so much about who I am as a person at my very core. It allowed me to discover the parts of myself that I didnt like or accept yet, and also how to recognise this in my day-to-day life. I have now learned to accurately identify my feelings in each moment of my day, and with some conscious effort also remember to be much more kind and loving towards myself. I thank the writer of this book for allowing me a glimpse into her own life through courageously sharing and exposing her soul. What I have gained from reading it is without a doubt the best gift anyone could ever give.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The first collection of plays from Olivier-nominated playwright Isley Lynn, whose award-winning work uplifts their deeply human characters through stories that are unexpected, radically intimate, and profoundly theatrical. Lean (2013): "It's not just powerful but it's incandescent. There is a profound intensity... that truly keeps you on the edge of your seat the whole way through. Sensitively written... Exemplary theatre at its best." The London Stage Skin A Cat (2016): "Frequently hilarious, it's also refreshingly honest and open in its discussion of menstruation, masturbation, oral and anal sex, and might well be the smartest, sharpest piece about female sexual identity since Phoebe Waller Bridge's Fleabag... this is bold and genuinely exciting new writing." The Stage albatross (2021): "Every intimate, individual scene is engaging, as the full-bodied characters knock up against their own judgments and histories... Lynn's scenes are full of genuine connections between characters, and the hope that comes with change." Guardian The Swell (2023): "Isley Lynn's characters are nuanced and beautifully drawn, and the play's dialogue is gorgeously natural and flowing. Where the playwright really excels though, is in bold and unexpected choices. The Swell takes its audience on some hugely gripping twists and turns. Lynn's writing is genuinely exciting." Evening Standard Isley won the Charles Wintour Most Promising Playwright Award at the 2023 Evening Standard Theatre Awards for The Swell, which was also nominated for Outstanding Achievement In An Affiliate Theatre at the 2024 Olivier Awards, as well as Best New Play, Best Director, and Best Production at the 2023 Off West End awards. Skin A Cat was awarded Pick Of The Year at Vault Festival 2016 and nominated for four Off West End Awards (Most Promising New Playwright - shortlist, Best New Play, Best Lead Female, Best Director) for its transfer as inaugural production at The Bunker, 2016, before touring nationally throughout 2018. Isley was the 2014 Script6 winner at The Space with Bright Nights, they received Special Commendation from the 2012 Soho Young Writers Award for Lomography, and they were twice named Champion of Literary Death Match (Norfolk and Norwich Festival, The Book Club London).
