Young Do, the son of a brave soldier-turned-king, embarks in search of IP, the magical Inverse Prism which would make diverse ones one. Having been aimless for much of life, battling addiction and struggling with his forgetful nature, he believes that discovering IP will not just solve his problems, but also bring into existence an ‘ideal society’. The more he sees people convincing themselves of the ‘untruths’, the more determined he becomes in his search. However, the cost of seeking simplicity seems to be complexity. Where will this path lead Do? From a prince to a musketeer, what more is in store for him? ‘DO’ is a philosophical fairytale trying to find the best through the worst and making the magical ideal the possible real.

He was already a whimsical Butterfly painting life gay with his iridescent wings, with a wise old Owl soul within his heart of a Cow jailed by an iron Hyena heart guarded by Vultures. Walker was all, and yet, none. He managed to identify with everybody, yet not totally with anybody, even himself. But Walker was not God, as no one is, but only human that led to him rushing headlong into disaster, taking others with him, but emerging unscathed, alone, as he finally found God, himself, albeit in a form opposite towards which he had aspired. The Dark This story is about an old poor writer’s wisdom and the curiosity of a young rich boy. They knew each other only through books though they were neighbours; the boy in his mansion neighbouring the writer in his slum. The writer, writing children’s books, in which were hidden pearls of philosophy, meant only for the wise beyond their years, finally recognizes the young boy but decides to walk away from him fearing that he would hurt a young heart and mind with his old philosophy. But the smart boy manages to get the scent of the writer and follows him and finds him with the help of a young man. The circle of life is complete, but what happens next?

It's the same villainess with whom he had been locked in a passionate embrace.Emmanuelle Vazet never gives up control, even if briefly, yet in the arms of a blue-eyed stranger, she felt the need to give in and let desire take over. A musketeer who could be her undoing...unless she becomes his undoing first. Action, adventure and swashbuckling set in 17th century France! If you're a fan of Alexandre Dumas' musketeers, this story continues the adventures following The Four Musketeers (and preceding Twenty Years After), and explores Athos's life when he desires to muster out of the musketeers and retire to Blois. • Pages : 736 pages

Download or read book The Three Musketeers written by Alexandre Dumas and published by Penguin. This book was released on 2006-08-03 with total page 736 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "We read The Three Musketeers to experience a sense of romance and for the sheer excitement of the story," reflected Clifton Fadiman. "In these violent pages all is action, intrigue, suspense, surprise--an almost endless chain of duels, murders, love affairs, unmaskings, ambushes, hairbreadth escapes, wild rides. It is all impossible and it is all magnificent." First published in 1844, Alexandre Dumas's swashbuckling epic chronicles the adventures of D'Artagnan, a gallant young nobleman who journeys to Paris in 1625 hoping to join the ranks of musketeers guarding Louis XIII. He soon finds himself fighting alongside three heroic comrades--Athos, Porthos, and Aramis--who seek to uphold the honor of the king by foiling the wicked plots of Cardinal Richelieu and the beautiful spy "Milady." "Dumas will be read a hundred, nay, three hundred years on," wrote John Galsworthy. "His greatest creation is undoubtedly D'Artagnan, type at once of the fighting adventurer and of the trusty servant, whose wily blade is ever at the back of those whose hearts have neither his magnanimity nor his courage. Few, if any, characters in fiction inspire one with such belief in their individual existences. . . . To one who made D'Artagnan all shall be forgiven." Clifton Fadiman agreed: "Dumas enjoyed writing his stories. . . . The pleasure he must have felt in creating D'Artagnan's troubles and triumphs flashes out of these pages. . . . Dumas rampaged through the history of France, inventing, changing, distorting--doing whatever was needed to produce a tale to hold the reader breathless."

Fortunately, she's garnered a rare invitation to Lady Dunlop's "Week of Love" house party, an annual affair notorious for matchmaking. Her plans to expedite a proposal would go smoothly if not for the brash younger sister she must chaperone, her outspoken, disagreeable best friend, and the bullish Lord Hartfell who seems determined to dog her every step. Lord Hartfell embodies every last thing Rose dislikes in a man. He’s domineering, tenacious, argumentative, and a little too casual with his nudity for her tastes. Worst of all, Rose can't seem to get him—or his kisses—out of her mind. Rose is determined to find a more appropriate husband, even if her heart disagrees with how unsuitable the stubborn lord is...
