Eleven stations were sampled, with lotic samples obtained from 5 stations on the Niagara River and two stations on the St. LawrenceRiver. Lentic systems were sampled at one station on Lake Erie and three stations on Lake Ontario. Sampling was done over the summer and spring of1981.
