El 73% expresó que la crianza de un/a hijo/a produce tensión y debe ser ventilada. El estudio encontró que aunque muchos de los/as padres/madres pueden reconocer alguna información sobre crianza apropiada, presentan cierta dificultad en aspectos prácticos. Por tanto, los adiestramientos desarrollados se estructuran a través de una serie de fases con un total de seis sesiones. En estas sesiones se establecen actividades dirigidas a cumplir con unas metas y objetivos. Algunos temas de este programa son el uso de disciplina apropiada, la comunicación y estrategias para el manejo de la conducta. El adiestramiento brinda tanto información relevante a las prácticas de crianza, como ejercicios prácticos. Finalmente, el programa de adiestramiento mide su efectividad por medio de un proceso de evaluación".
