Bioprocesses may find applications in other sectors where chemical processes are now applied as methodologies and equipment improve. As bioprocess technology advances, particularly separation and purification techniques, commercial firms will be able to produce these substances in large quantities at a low cost, allowing them to be used in medicalresearch, food processing, agriculture, pharmaceutical development, waste management, and a variety of other fields of science and industry.
