Book Design of Control Chart for Monitoring Process having Indeterminate Production Data

Download or read book Design of Control Chart for Monitoring Process having Indeterminate Production Data written by Muhammad Aslam and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 15 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The existing charts for monitoring the variance are designed under the assumption that all production data must consist of exact, precise, and determined observations. This paper presents the design of a new neutrosophic exponentially weighted moving average (NEWMA) combining with a neutrosophic logarithmic transformation chart for monitoring the variance having neutrosophic numbers. The computation of the neutrosophic control chart parameters is done through the neutrosophic Monte Carlo simulation (NMCS). The performance of the proposed chart is discussed with the existing charts.

Book Monitoring of production of blood components by attribute control chart under indeterminacy

Download or read book Monitoring of production of blood components by attribute control chart under indeterminacy written by Nasrullah Khan and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 8 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The existing control chart for monitoring the blood components by attribute is designed using classical statistics. The existing attribute control chart can be applied only when the experimenter is sure about the proportion of defective or all the observations in the sample are determined. In this paper, new attribute control charts for monitoring the blood components under the neutrosophic statistics will be presented. The design of the proposed control chart is given under the neutrosophic statistical interval method. The applications of these control charts demonstrate that the proposed control charts are quite effective, adequate, flexible, and informative for monitoring the blood components under uncertain environment.

Book Design of X Bar Control Chart for Resampling Under Uncertainty Environment

Download or read book Design of X Bar Control Chart for Resampling Under Uncertainty Environment written by MUHAMMAD ASLAM and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 11 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This paper presents the designing of the X-bar control chart using resampling scheme under the uncertainty environment. The necessary measures of the present chart are derived under the neutrosophic system. The neutrosophic average run length (NARL) when the process is in-control and out-of-control are derived under the neutrosophic statistical interval method (NSIM). The neutrosophic control chart coefcients are determined through the algorithm developed under NSIM. The comparative study shows that the proposed chart is better than the existing chart in NARL.

Book Cognitive Intelligence with Neutrosophic Statistics in Bioinformatics

Download or read book Cognitive Intelligence with Neutrosophic Statistics in Bioinformatics written by Florentin Smarandache and published by Elsevier. This book was released on 2023-02-11 with total page 495 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Cognitive Intelligence with Neutrosophic Statistics in Bioinformatics investigates and presents the many applications that have arisen in the last ten years using neutrosophic statistics in bioinformatics, medicine, agriculture and cognitive science. This book will be very useful to the scientific community, appealing to audiences interested in fuzzy, vague concepts from which uncertain data are collected, including academic researchers, practicing engineers and graduate students. Neutrosophic statistics is a generalization of classical statistics. In classical statistics, the data is known, formed by crisp numbers. In comparison, data in neutrosophic statistics has some indeterminacy. This data may be ambiguous, vague, imprecise, incomplete, and even unknown. Neutrosophic statistics refers to a set of data, such that the data or a part of it are indeterminate in some degree, and to methods used to analyze the data. Introduces the field of neutrosophic statistics and how it can solve problems working with indeterminate (imprecise, ambiguous, vague, incomplete, unknown) data Presents various applications of neutrosophic statistics in the fields of bioinformatics, medicine, cognitive science and agriculture Provides practical examples and definitions of neutrosophic statistics in relation to the various types of indeterminacies

Book Control Charts for Statistical Process Control a Literature Overview

Download or read book Control Charts for Statistical Process Control a Literature Overview written by Anika Johlke and published by . This book was released on 2023 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Control charts are a widely used tool for statistical process control and have been continuously researched and applied for several decades. If the underlying assumptions are guaranteed, traditional charts such as the Shewhart, EWMA or CUSUM chart are a reasonable choice for monitoring production or service processes. However, with the increasing availability of data and the need for more complex monitoring processes, these charts have evolved, resulting in a broad and diverse field of research. This literature overview aims to categorize the different characteristics of control charts, including general and specific types of control charts, different types of data, multivariate and distribution-free charts, computation methods, and the economic approach to designing a control chart. In particular, a categorization scheme for different performance metrics is provided, which is the first of its kind. This overview offers a brief summary of all categories, outlines representative and high-quality articles, introduces the most influential authors in the field, and suggests several areas for future research. Unlike recent literature reviews, we do not focus on a specific property of control charts, but rather provide a comprehensive overview. Research on this topic has not ceased at all, in fact it has increased in the past two years, emphasizing the continued importance of control charts.

Book Control Chart for Variance Using Repetitive Sampling Under Neutrosophic Statistical Interval System

Download or read book Control Chart for Variance Using Repetitive Sampling Under Neutrosophic Statistical Interval System written by Muhammad Aslam and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 10 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In this paper, a control chart for variance using the repetitive sampling under the neutrosophic statistics is proposed. The proposed control chart can be applied for monitoring the variability in the process when some observations/parameters are unclear and indeterminate. The operational procedure of the proposed control chart and the necessary measures are given for the practical use of the proposed control chart. The control chart parameters are determined through the algorithm under neutrosophic statistical interval method. The efficiency of the proposed control chart is compared with the existing control chart in neutrosophic average run length. From the simulation study and a real example, it is concluded that the proposed control chart is more efficient in detecting a shift in the process and more adequate, effective, informative, and exible under the uncertainty environment.

Book Neutrosophic Sets and Systems vol 51 2022

Download or read book Neutrosophic Sets and Systems vol 51 2022 written by Florentin Smarandache and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on 2022-09-01 with total page 970 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: “Neutrosophic Sets and Systems” has been created for publications on advanced studies in neutrosophy, neutrosophic set, neutrosophic logic, neutrosophic probability, neutrosophic statistics that started in 1995 and their applications in any field, such as the neutrosophic structures developed in algebra, geometry, topology, etc. Neutrosophy is a new branch of philosophy that studies the origin, nature, and scope of neutralities, as well as their interactions with different ideational spectra. This theory considers every notion or idea together with its opposite or negation and with their spectrum of neutralities in between them (i.e. notions or ideas supporting neither nor ). The and ideas together are referred to as . Neutrosophy is a generalization of Hegel's dialectics (the last one is based on and only). According to this theory every idea tends to be neutralized and balanced by and ideas - as a state of equilibrium. In a classical way , , are disjoint two by two. But, since in many cases the borders between notions are vague, imprecise, Sorites, it is possible that , , (and of course) have common parts two by two, or even all three of them as well. Neutrosophic Set and Neutrosophic Logic are generalizations of the fuzzy set and respectively fuzzy logic (especially of intuitionistic fuzzy set and respectively intuitionistic fuzzy logic).

Download or read book A New X Bar Control Chart for Using Neutrosophic ExponentiallyWeighted Moving Average written by Muhammad Aslam and published by Infinite Study. This book was released on with total page 13 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The existing Shewhart X-bar control charts using the exponentially weighted moving average statistic are designed under the assumption that all observations are precise, determined, and known. In practice, it may be possible that the sample or the population observations are imprecise or fuzzy. In this paper, we present the designing of the X-bar control chart under the symmetry property of normal distribution using the neutrosophic exponentially weighted moving average statistics. We will first introduce the neutrosophic exponentially weighted moving average statistic, and then use it to design the X-bar control chart for monitoring the data under an uncertainty environment. We will determine the neutrosophic average run length using the neutrosophic Monte Carlo simulation. The eciency of the proposed plan will be compared with existing control charts.

Book Short Production Run Control Charts to Monitor Process Variances

Download or read book Short Production Run Control Charts to Monitor Process Variances written by Zhong Yao Meng and published by . This book was released on 2015 with total page 105 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Control chart is one of the most commonly used statistical tools for quality control and improvement. If the process mean and standard deviation are not given or unknown, most Shewhart control charts require sufficient sample data before the control chart can be established. However, in certain industries or processes, it may not be practical to collect adequate amount of data at the beginning of the manufacturing process to build the trial control chart in Phase I. For quality improvement in such or similar processes, some authors developed self-starting control charts for short-run production, e.g. t chart, Q chart, EWMA t chart/Q chart, CUSUM t chart/Q chart. This thesis studies the performance of some short run control charts for monitoring process variances. Numerical simulations are using in this study. The results of the numerical experiments are extensively tested for different combinations of process lengths and starting points of process shifts.
