The objective of the project is to design and fabricate the combination of free and force vibration test rig. This report also describes about the free and force vibration experiment and their functionality. Design generation is shown and solid three dimensional structures modelling of the test rig was developed using Solidworks software. This report also explains the fabrication process that is needed for this project. Material that was being used in this project is aluminium. The problems encountered during completion of this project are also show in the report. An idea of improvement for the combination of test rig is also provided for further improvement of the test rig. The expected result for this project can solve the entire stated problem statement.

Book Design and Fabrication of Two Degree of Freedom Free Vibration Test Rig

Download or read book Design and Fabrication of Two Degree of Freedom Free Vibration Test Rig written by Soon Wea Tan and published by . This book was released on 2013 with total page 45 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This thesis shows the design and fabrication of a vibration test rig with two degree of freedom free vibration in coordinate coupling. The objective for this project is to design and fabricate lab test rig for free vibration in coordinate coupling. Basically, the vibration test rig applied with the dynamic concept such as angular displacement, angular velocity, frequency, two degree of freedom and free vibration. Design generation of the test rig is portrayed and three dimensional view as well as orthographic view was done using Solidworks software. The needed fabrication process is briefly described and the main material used in this project is aluminium and mild steel. Process like cutting, drilling, grinding, tapping and etc is needed to fabricate the test rig. Some methods of improvement for the combination of test rig are also provided for further improvement of the test rig. Finally the test rig can experiment to test the coordinate coupling theory of vibration.

Book excerpt: This project is about the designing and fabrication the two degree of freedom freevibration translation motion test rig. The objective of this project is to design and fabricate the two degree of freedom free vibration translation motion test rig. Thestudy on the free vibration system of two degree of freedom is very important. This theory need to be carried out by doing experimental study. This test rig will bedeveloped based on the vibration fundamental knowledge. The fabrication processstarts with understanding the fundamental of mechanical vibration. Sketching and design process will be developed in multiple choices in order to select the best designconcept of the test rig. Material selection and the factor of the selection also havebeen listed based on the appropriate criteria predetermined. The selection material will undergo several fabrication process based on the chose design. Finally the test rigwill be tested in the vibration laboratory.

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Force Limited Vibration Testing NASA-HDBK-7004C We print NASA's handbooks and standards for the convenience of those that use them on a daily basis. We print all of these a full 8 1/2 by 11 with large text so they are easy to read. Yes, color books are expensive to print so unless the information relies on the use of color for proper interpretation or understanding, we print most books in black and white to keep the cost down. All these documents are available for download for free from NASA, however printing them all over a network printer would take days. Why buy a book you can download free? We print this so you don't have to. All these books are available for free download from the government web site. Some are available only in electronic media. Some online docs are missing pages or barely legible. We at 4th Watch Publishing are former government employees, so we know how government employees actually use the standards. When a new standard is released, an engineer prints it out, punches holes and puts it in a 3-ring binder. While this is not a big deal for a 5 or 10-page document, many NIST documents are over 100 pages and printing a large document is a time- consuming effort. So, an engineer that's paid $75 an hour is spending hours simply printing out the tools needed to do the job. That's time that could be better spent doing engineering. We publish these documents so engineers can focus on what they were hired to do - engineering. It's much more cost-effective to just order the latest version from Amazon.com If there is a standard you would like published, let us know. Book Use of Services for Family Planning and Infertility United States 1982

Download or read book Use of Services for Family Planning and Infertility United States 1982 written by Gerry E. Hendershot and published by . This book was released on 1988 with total page 982 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The 1982 statistics on the use of family planning and infertility services presented in this report are preliminary results from Cycle III of the National Survey of Family Growth (NSFG), conducted by the National Center for Health Statistics. Data were collected through personal interviews with a multistage area probability sample of 7969 women aged 15-44. A detailed series of questions was asked to obtain relatively complete estimates of the extent and type of family planning services received. Statistics on family planning services are limited to women who were able to conceive 3 years before the interview date. Overall, 79% of currently mrried nonsterile women reported using some type of family planning service during the previous 3 years. There were no statistically significant differences between white (79%), black (75%) or Hispanic (77%) wives, or between the 2 income groups. The 1982 survey questions were more comprehensive than those of earlier cycles of the survey. The annual rate of visits for family planning services in 1982 was 1077 visits /1000 women. Teenagers had the highest annual visit rate (1581/1000) of any age group for all sources of family planning services combined. Visit rates declined sharply with age from 1447 at ages 15-24 to 479 at ages 35-44. Similar declines with age also were found in the visit rates for white and black women separately. Nevertheless, the annual visit rate for black women (1334/1000) was significantly higher than that for white women (1033). The highest overall visit rate was for black women 15-19 years of age (1867/1000). Nearly 2/3 of all family planning visits were to private medical sources. Teenagers of all races had higher family planning service visit rates to clinics than to private medical sources, as did black women age 15-24. White women age 20 and older had higher visit rates to private medical services than to clinics. Never married women had higher visit rates to clinics than currently or formerly married women. Data were also collected in 1982 on use of medical services for infertility by women who had difficulty in conceiving or carrying a pregnancy to term. About 1 million ever married women had 1 or more infertility visits in the 12 months before the interview. During the 3 years before interview, about 1.9 million women had infertility visits. For all ever married women, as well as for white and black women separately, infertility services were more likely to be secured from private medical sources than from clinics. The survey design, reliability of the estimates and the terms used are explained in the technical notes.
