Then the medallic memorials of the War between France and Great Britain, which involved their colonies in America, is represented by important and interesting examples, and medals referring to North America are included. These are followed by medals referring to the Revolutionary War of separation from the mother country, of the por tion that subsequently formed the United States, together with a num ber of the very rare medals relating to the War of 1812, given by Great Britain to her troops who served in America; then another series of a few representative English coins of these periods and of British historical medals and the later coins and medals of Canada to the present time.
