The paper doesn't bleed thru and there is room for my notes. Very handy design.- I spend 95% of my time in the FAR in one section. When I travel, I only have to take that volume that I need. On travel, when I occasionally need the other volume, I get it on line. Thanks. You have saved me several pounds of weight.- I spend a lot of time in the FAR. When I do, any version with small type is tiring and very difficult to read. Your font and layout are very comfortable and easy to read. Great job! Thanks.

Book Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Afars

Download or read book Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement Afars written by Department of Department of Defense and published by Createspace Independent Publishing Platform. This book was released on 2018-04-27 with total page 410 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: 2013 Revision #26, 17 Apr 2018 Download Kindle eBook FREE when you buy this book for a limited time only. This is the full text of the Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (AFARS) and includes a comprehensive index. The AFARS were developed and maintain acquisition rules and guidance to facilitate the acquisition workforce as they acquire the goods and services the Army requires to ensure America's warfighters continued worldwide success. Many people use the Army Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement every work day and it is a necessary document to do their job. The AFARS is over 400 pages of a complex subject. Sometimes you have to take the AFARS (or the FAR) to a conference room as a reference tool. Those are large binders so you would need a small wagon just to access some information. It's much easier to bring along a mobile device. Why buy a book you can download for free? We print this book so you don't have to. First you gotta find a good clean (legible) copy and make sure it's the latest version (not always easy). Some documents found on the web are missing some pages or the image quality is so poor, they are difficult to read. We look over each document carefully and replace poor quality images by going back to the original source document. We proof each document to make sure it's all there - including all changes. If you find a good copy, you could print it using a network printer you share with 100 other people (typically its either out of paper or toner). If it's just a 10-page document, no problem, but if it's 250-pages, you will need to punch 3 holes in all those pages and put it in a 3-ring binder. Takes at least an hour. It's much more cost-effective to just order the latest version from Amazon.com This book includes original commentary which is copyright material. Note that government documents are in the public domain. We print these large documents as a service so you don't have to. The books are compact, tightly-bound, full-size (8 1⁄2 by 11 inches), with large text and glossy covers. If you like the service we provide, please leave positive review on Amazon.com. Without positive feedback from the community, we may discontinue the service and y'all can go back to printing these books manually yourselves.www.usgovpub.com

Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) is the cornerstone of every government contractor's reference library, and required reading prior to entering into contracts with the United States government. The Office of Federal Procurement Policy Act of 1974 established the OFPP and delegated to it the issuance and maintenance of the FAR. The FAR forms Chapter 1 of Title 48 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) and is the core of all federal procurement. Other agencies have authority to issue their own supplements to the FAR. Chapter 2 of Title 48 is the Defense FAR Supplement (DFARS). These books contain the full text of the DFARS, and unlike other publications, are printed in easy to read 12-point font. As the title implies, the DFARS is a supplement to, not a replacement for the FAR, which remains the foundation for each agency's supplements. The FAR and its supplements are updated frequently. Please check the publisher's website frequently for FAR updates and the most up-to-date editions.
