Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Billions of people have been deceived, damaged, deprived of health, robbed of their possessions and murdered over the last 300 years, by means of so-called health care. The process is intensifying and is reaching a crescendo in the late nineties of this century. This brutal activity takes place under the guise of "health care" or medical treatment. The participants in this macabre scene consist of many stakeholders, including somewhat unwitting, normally willing, and innocent patients on the receiving end. Dispensing this mayhem is an unholy grouping of professions, groups, academics, big business, government and the media. Once medical science is investigated in detail, one discovers that very little in the healing industry has evolved by chance, but that powerful influences have, and are, orchestrating the developments worldwide. Disease and illness have accompanied humans since the earliest history recorded in the Old Testament.1 In the first case of recorded healing, Abraham prayed to God for the healing of Abimelech, his wife, and his maidservants, and they were healed. Health was and still is also regarded as a blessing by believers and others. We know two factual characteristics of humans, namely that they are created as mortal 2, as well as self-healing creatures - meaning that it is known from Scripture that humans are destined to die physically; it is also known from observation and experience that most injuries will heal spontaneously, without treatment intervention. In order to fully understand the bigger picture of the medical puzzle, one requires a working knowledge of medicine, healing, disease, history, science, politics, economics, worldly traditions, and most of all, Scripture. The author has studied these subjects for more than 30 years. It was only in 1993 however, that he, by the grace of God, became saved as a born-again Christian. Piece by piece the puzzle became clear to the author. Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, he devoted most of his free time to collate the necessary information for this book. The project has consumed 5 years of devoted work. Only a person who has been a scholar of God's grand plan, as described in Scripture, can possibly comprehend the proper context of these worldly events. Having had personal experience of the Gestapo tactics practiced by the medical authorities, the author feels compelled to share his understanding and knowledge of the grave status quo, with fellow humans.

Book excerpt: "Demonising a Good Doctor details every aspect of an inquiry that should go down as one of the worst travesties in New Zealand's legal and medical history. Screening is more complex than many people realise. Public controversy over screening issues broke out in the 1980s in New Zealand leading to a judicial inquiry. But did that inquiry understand these issues? Or did the real agendas behind the inquiry lead to an injustice?"--Back cover.

Book Killing the Planet

Download or read book Killing the Planet written by Rodney Howard-Browne and published by Simon and Schuster. This book was released on 2019-11-05 with total page 504 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In Killing the Planet: How A Financial Cartel Doomed Mankind, best-selling authors Rodney Howard-Browne and Paul L. Williams investigate the true motives and consequences of the Pilgrim Society. Early members of the Society included J. P. Morgan, Andrew Carnegie, Andrew Mellon, Cornelius Vanderbilt, Paul Warburg, Mortimer I. Schiff, Otto Kahn, and John D. Rockefeller. Although the Pilgrim Society and the powerful men involved are often praised for their philanthropic actions, Howard-Browne and Williams show that the Society was self-serving and subjected the American people to a brutal system of economic tyranny, one which is still in place today. As a sequel to The Killing of Uncle Sam, Killing the Planet is a thoroughly documented and impeccably researched book, with over 1,500 footnotes. It shows how mankind has become enslaved within the Luciferian world system that is managed and controlled by the world's wealthiest families. The book is not full of conspiracy theories but instead, unfortunately for all of humanity, full of gut-wrenching facts.

Book African Spirituality and Ethics

Download or read book African Spirituality and Ethics written by Munyaradzi Felix Murove and published by Springer Nature. This book was released on 2023-12-28 with total page 142 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book explores the symbiotic relationship that exists between African spirituality and ethics. Felix Murove discusses how these two concepts are entwined, and illustrates how they play a role in applied ethical issues. He argues that the general understanding of spirituality in Africa stems from Christianity, which has had a negative impact on African indigenous spirituality. The conceptual tools that run throughout the book are considerably Afro-centric, a methodological strategy which inevitably requires the reader to adopt some prior willingness to learn these Afro-centric concepts without easily resorting to western Christian and philosophical categories of thought. The book advocates for an Afro-centric conceptualization of spirituality and ethics, and encourages the reader to adopt a more holistic approach to African spirituality.

  • Author : Paul A Offit
  • Publisher : Basic Books
  • Release : 2015-03-10

  • Pages : 270 pages

Download or read book Bad Faith written by Paul A Offit and published by Basic Books. This book was released on 2015-03-10 with total page 270 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: In recent years, there have been major outbreaks of whooping cough among children in California, mumps in New York, and measles in Ohio's Amish country -- despite the fact that these are all vaccine-preventable diseases. Although America is the most medically advanced place in the world, many people disregard modern medicine in favor of using their faith to fight life threatening illnesses. Christian Scientists pray for healing instead of going to the doctor, Jehovah's Witnesses refuse blood transfusions, and ultra-Orthodox Jewish mohels spread herpes by using a primitive ritual to clean the wound. Tragically, children suffer and die every year from treatable diseases, and in most states it is legal for parents to deny their children care for religious reasons. In twenty-first century America, how could this be happening? In Bad Faith, acclaimed physician and author Dr. Paul Offit gives readers a never-before-seen look into the minds of those who choose to medically martyr themselves, or their children, in the name of religion. Offit chronicles the stories of these faithful and their children, whose devastating experiences highlight the tangled relationship between religion and medicine in America. Religious or not, this issue reaches everyone -- whether you are seeking treatment at a Catholic hospital or trying to keep your kids safe from diseases spread by their unvaccinated peers. Replete with vivid storytelling and complex, compelling characters, Bad Faith makes a strenuous case that denying medicine to children in the name of religion isn't't just unwise and immoral, but a rejection of the very best aspects of what belief itself has to offer.

Download or read book Being a Doctor written by Hamish Wilson and published by Royal College of General Practitioners. This book was released on 2014-09-20 with total page 267 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Being a Doctor is much more than simply providing medical care. This book aims to increase the resilience and wellness of doctors, helping the profession to provide better care for patients, through a deep and thoughtful approach to clinical work. It explores areas that can challenge clinicians in all stages of their career: the doctor - patient relationship, adverse outcomes, the 'heartsink' experience, and functional illness. The authors also introduce self-care of the doctor and patient safety, two important issues for modern medicine. This is a unique text that draws links between the philosophy of modern medicine and clinical tasks such as consulting skills, the doctor patient relationship, patient safety, reflective practice and doctors' self care. It is written in an accessible style and is firmly grounded in real-life clinical and teaching experience. The authors believe each doctor, as a person, is inseparable from the task of delivering medical care. Enhancing our ability to deliver that care is essential for patients, communities and society. Just as patients need 'whole person' care, the profession needs 'whole person' doctors. Being a doctor, and deriving meaning from clinical experience, are at the heart of this book.
