Book excerpt: Do you want to know the catastrophes of 5G networks and how this technology is effecting the humans and environment? Then keep reading!'Networking' in technology is connecting a computer device to exchange information. Our Internet is just that sort of service, and every day new ideas and better solutions are being created. We can define the Internet as a 'cloud' or repository for files and services which we can access but which are not directly on our computers. Every day, technology advances, demanding more even from our household systems. Let's look to networking's future! 5G reflects the next step in wireless technology. We have 4G right now but our mobile phones need higher bandwidths to broadcast videos and gaming. 5G shall compensate for that by annexing 1 millisecond radio spectrum. This will require the further creation of driverless cars in these arenas. Imagine watching movies in just a matter of seconds! There are mounting concerns about the use of cell phones and the effects of radiation on the human body. We take a look at how this new technology is harmful for our wellbeing as 5G network rollout. 5G, the latest generation of mobile communications, would use higher frequencies and bandwidth, allowing consumers to transmit wireless data faster than older cell phone standards up to 10Gbit per second. The need to increase the frequency of 5G networks will soon see booster antennas mounted on road signs, street lights and even post boxes. All you know owns or uses digital devices such as smartphones, vehicles, computers or smartwatches and not a week goes by when concerns about mobile radiation are not expressed in the mainstream media. Long before the corona virus pandemic, unfounded concerns surrounding 5G can also be traced back to when 5G itself didn't exist. A persistent cause of concern has been electromagnetic radiation from telephone towers and other telecommunications facilities in particular.Humanity has traditionally tried to adapt the planet to human needs, but IoT in combination with 5G allows us the opportunity to fully understand our environmental effects and respond accordingly. We will be getting the proof for the first time to make the best possible decisions. This modern, but untested technology is approaching fast and we can do very little to avoid its widespread implementation. The important concerns to be focused upon in this book 'Death by 5G' are covering the following areas;5G as the future of network technologyThe Global Tug of rope between the world leaders over 5GThe facts and myths covering all the controversies of network technology.Humans getting the best 5G in terms of health concerns.Environmental issue resulting in excessive radiations. The opportunities with 5G to unlock the wonders.Technological advancements are always a big concern for mankind, and to clear the air of uncertainty, this book is the best gateway to get through all the riddles that 5G puts as a road blocks in your way. Book The Death of the Internet

Download or read book The Death of the Internet written by Markus Jakobsson and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2012-07-11 with total page 425 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Fraud poses a significant threat to the Internet. 1.5% of all online advertisements attempt to spread malware. This lowers the willingness to view or handle advertisements, which will severely affect the structure of the web and its viability. It may also destabilize online commerce. In addition, the Internet is increasingly becoming a weapon for political targets by malicious organizations and governments. This book will examine these and related topics, such as smart phone based web security. This book describes the basic threats to the Internet (loss of trust, loss of advertising revenue, loss of security) and how they are related. It also discusses the primary countermeasures and how to implement them.

  • Release : 2018-06-18

  • Pages : 322 pages

Download or read book Exposed written by Bill Cadwallader and published by . This book was released on 2018-06-18 with total page 322 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Have you ever wondered about the safety or dangers of: Cell Phones Smartphone Addiction Cell Tower Radiation WiFi, Bluetooth High-Voltage Power Lines Smart Devices 5G Mobile Networks Baby Monitors Cordless Phone Bases Microwave Oven Radiation . . . Just to name a few of the topics in "EXPOSED: The Electronic Sickening of America and How to Protect Yourself." There's a hidden danger pulsating in the airways and buzzing behind the walls of millions of American homes, schools, and businesses. Our families, co-workers, even our pets, are exposed to electromagnetic radiation (EMR) almost continually, 24/7. Few people want to address this topic because they don't know what to do. They are frustrated and overwhelmed by the scattered and conflicting information that's out there. And they fear that they will have to give up their electronic necessities. I felt that way as well--until I learned that the great news is that you CAN take control of your exposure to harmful electromagnetic radiation and learn how to use your electronic devices more safely. First, some background: A disturbing correlation has been discovered between electro-pollution and a host of diseases and disorders. These include cancer, neurological diseases, respiratory diseases, behavioral disorders, chronic fatigue, ADHD, insomnia, depression, headaches, muscle/joint pain, chronic inflammation, and many more. The report "BioInitiative 2012," collates research from around the world on the bio-effects and health hazards of electromagnetic fields and electromagnetic radition: from wires and wireless technologies. It represents more than 3,800 scientific, peer-reviewed studies done by PhDs and MDs on the potential health effects of prolonged exposure to electromagnetic radiation. And the research continues to grow. Electromagnetic radiation is the tobacco of the Digital Age. And, like tobacco, it can kill you. The widespread rollout of 5G will only exacerbate the problem. We don't really know how this is all going to turn out. We are all "guinea pigs" in a huge, highly lucrative, disorganized experiment. The telecommunications industry doesn't have to win the scientific argument about safety; it only has to keep the argument going. We need to research the research and follow the dollars. Most people don't have the time to do that. That's why I wrote this book. To put you at ease, I want to say that I am not anti-technology. I use it on a daily basis. I have a smartphone and computer, and use social media. This book is about how to use your electronic devices more safely. It is about how to guard yourself and the people you love against the unintended consequences of the digital age. This book has been written to be accessible to the person who has little or no technical background in electronics or physics. It has many practical solutions that can be accomplished by just about anyone in one minute, and often without cost. EXPOSED gives you the "back story" and provides information so you can discern the facts from fiction regarding the safety of wireless technology and dirty electricity. Most importantly, this book provides solutions. There are good, better, and best ways to use technology in order to minimize your exposure to harmful radiation. Read it. Do it. Share it.

Book The Myth of Capitalism

Download or read book The Myth of Capitalism written by Jonathan Tepper and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2023-04-25 with total page 349 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The Myth of Capitalism tells the story of how America has gone from an open, competitive marketplace to an economy where a few very powerful companies dominate key industries that affect our daily lives. Digital monopolies like Google, Facebook and Amazon act as gatekeepers to the digital world. Amazon is capturing almost all online shopping dollars. We have the illusion of choice, but for most critical decisions, we have only one or two companies, when it comes to high speed Internet, health insurance, medical care, mortgage title insurance, social networks, Internet searches, or even consumer goods like toothpaste. Every day, the average American transfers a little of their pay check to monopolists and oligopolists. The solution is vigorous anti-trust enforcement to return America to a period where competition created higher economic growth, more jobs, higher wages and a level playing field for all. The Myth of Capitalism is the story of industrial concentration, but it matters to everyone, because the stakes could not be higher. It tackles the big questions of: why is the US becoming a more unequal society, why is economic growth anemic despite trillions of dollars of federal debt and money printing, why the number of start-ups has declined, and why are workers losing out.

Book Capitalism and the Death Drive

Download or read book Capitalism and the Death Drive written by Byung-Chul Han and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2021-05-18 with total page 135 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: What we call growth today is in fact a tumorous growth, a cancerous proliferation which is disrupting the social organism. These tumours endlessly metastasize and grow with an inexplicable, deadly vitality. At a certain point this growth is no longer productive, but rather destructive. Capitalism passed this point long ago. Its destructive forces cause not only ecological and social catastrophes but also mental collapse. The destructive compulsion to perform combines self-affirmation and self-destruction in one. We optimize ourselves to death. Brutal competition ends in destruction. It produces an emotional coldness and indifference towards others as well as towards one’s own self. The devastating consequences of capitalism suggest that a death drive is at work. Freud initially introduced the death drive hesitantly, but later admitted that he ‘couldn’t think beyond it’ as the idea of the death drive became increasingly central to his thought. Today, it is impossible to think about capitalism without considering the death drive.

Book The Strange Non death of Neo liberalism

Download or read book The Strange Non death of Neo liberalism written by Colin Crouch and published by John Wiley & Sons. This book was released on 2013-04-26 with total page 167 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The financial crisis seemed to present a fundamental challenge to neo liberalism, the body of ideas that have constituted the political orthodoxy of most advanced economies in recent decades. Colin Crouch argues in this book that it will shrug off this challenge. The reason is that while neo liberalism seems to be about free markets, in practice it is concerned with the dominance over public life of the giant corporation. This has been intensified, not checked, by the recent financial crisis and acceptance that certain financial corporations are ‘too big to fail'. Although much political debate remains preoccupied with conflicts between the market and the state, the impact of the corporation on both these is today far more important. Several factors have brought us to this situation: The lobbying power of firms whose donations are of growing importance to cash-hungry politicians and parties The weakening of competitive forces by firms large enough to shape and dominate their markets The moral initiative that is grasped by enterprises that devise their own agendas of corporate social responsibility Both democratic politics and the free market are weakened by these processes, but they are largely inevitable and not always malign. Hope for the future, therefore, cannot lie in suppressing them in order to attain either an economy of pure markets or a socialist society. Rather it lies in dragging the giant corporation fully into political controversy.

Book excerpt: Over the past two years a pandemic has gripped the planet in fear with lockdowns, restrictions, and a transition into a unknown future with transhumanism at its helm. While the flow of information has been heavily censored and controlled by a new "fact checker" system, humanity seemingly is only getting one side of the story. The SARS-Cov2 has been manipulated by the mass media keeping people locked in their homes afraid to go out. Controversial theories including this virus being imaginary and that the virus was engineered to control the world population are at the helm of the argument. Part one of the third installment of the series questions the state of humanity's future and the fate of our very race with our environmental habits, vaccines and their supposed purpose, what it means to be human and our beliefs. Has humanity reached its zenith? With the 2030 agenda pushed by the United Nations and their praise for what some are calling the "scamdemic/plandemic" as a means of starting over, is humanity to begin what most are calling the Great Reset? Is the next stage in our evolution dominated by RFID implanted chips, vaccine passports with the promise of returning to a "normal life," and a biotechnology? The horizon in humanity's future seems mysterious and hidden.
