Book excerpt: Some dreams or visions, if they are symbolic in nature, require an interpretation. This unique book "Daniel: Understanding the Dreams and Visions" unlocks and explains the structure and mysteries of the prophecies in the book of Daniel. It reveals the keys that the prophet Daniel has presented to unlock the prophecies of the Bible. "Daniel" expounds the prophecies in four distinct visions of how God has revealed the rise and fall of the seven earthly kingdoms/empires many centuries in advance. The truths of these prophecies have withstood every attack from every scholar and skeptic. According to the Talmud and the Hebrew Scriptures, Daniel received and interpreted dreams and visions, similar to many other Jewish prophets. This new book brings much needed clarity to the text of the prophecies of Daniel through the definitions of codewords, maps, pictures, illustrations, charts, tables and secular historical records. The Author adds comments only where necessary. An understanding of the Old Testament book of Daniel will set the foundation for a better understanding the prophecies in the book of Revelation. In this book the author adopts a detailed but simple approach to an intricate and complex web of prophetic truths of coming world events. The object of this book is to clarify the symbolisms and cryptic codes in the ancient yet futuristic prophecies of Daniel. For as Jesus said, "And now I have told you before it come to pass, that, when it is come to pass, ye might believe."JOHN 14:29. "Take heed that no man deceive you." Matt. 24:4.

Book First Three of the Last Four Visions of Daniel

Download or read book First Three of the Last Four Visions of Daniel written by Thomas Daniels and published by . This book was released on 2021-06-21 with total page 598 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Many books have been written, to the praise of their authors, because of the author's ability to stimulate the readers' minds. These books can be fiction, or non-fiction, personal stories, or even more serious works. Some draw accolades, anyhow. These books by this author, is none of the above. The author of these books is a Christian, a child of God, who sought to learn what God was telling him, when he read the Bible. Even though men wrote those sixty-six books, the Bible makes it plain that they were all inspired by God. To this author, that means that the messages in the Bible come from God, and if we do not understand them completely, we are to ask God for wisdom, so we may understand His messages. These two books are the result of that philosophy. Even in college, the author was not comfortable with what he was being taught concerning what the prophecies of Daniel meant. The interpretations that the author encountered in the literature, and even from his church, did not impress him that what he was being taught, was what God was telling Daniel to relate to us. As a result, the author embarked on a study that would assist him in discovering what God was really telling Daniel to tell us. That study covered a period of more than two decades, but was it worth it. The author was right. The extant interpretations were what men thought God was telling Daniel. They were not what God was actually telling him. The books will surprise their readers, because of the startling revelations recorded in them. The concentration of the author's study was on the last four visions that Daniel received and recorded. The popular interpretations of those four visions were the ones the author could not fathom before his study was conducted.

This book was released on 2019-01-17 with total page 742 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: "And in the days of these kings shall the God of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever" (Daniel 2:44). The message of Daniel is that Jesus the Messiah is now ruling over the nations. Daniel tells us that Messiah's kingdom will advance in the whole world from "generation to generation" (Daniel 4:4,34). Christ's dominion is "given to the people of the saints of the most High" (Daniel 7:22). Our purpose then is to see "all people, nations, and languages serve and obey him" (Daniel 7:14,27). "This meticulously researched and thorough treatment of Daniel from a preterist perspective includes over 700 pages of commentary, historical background and setting, New Testament allusions, and much more. It is enhanced with charts, tables, maps, illustrations, and topped off with helpful, thorough indexes." - Kenneth L. Gentry, Jr., Th.D.

Book The Visions of Daniel the Hebrew Prophet

Download or read book The Visions of Daniel the Hebrew Prophet written by Robert Johns and published by WestBow Press. This book was released on 2012-04-20 with total page 436 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: For centuries, controversy has raged over the authorship and genuineness of the book of Daniel. Is it an authentic document from the sixth century before the Common Era with a message from God to postexilic Israel; or is it a forged document written centuries later to encourage Israelites being oppressed by the Seleucid king, Antiochus Epiphanes? Robert Johns addresses these issues and more in his thesis on Daniels visions. Importantly, Johns establishes when Daniel was provided with his visions, and he defines why God provided Daniel with the visions. The Visions of Daniel the Hebrew Prophet examines the metal image, the beast with eleven horns, the Seventy sevens, chapter eights little-horn, and the 2,300 evening-mornings. It demonstrates that the enigmatic 1,290 days and 1,335 days are anything but enigmatic, and it identifies the reason why Daniels fifth and final revelation is so detailed. Appendices address issues of general nature, such as the historicity of Jesus the Christ, the popularity of dispensationalism, the identity of the abomination that desolates, and the integrity of novels representing the Christian-fiction genre (which focus on a seven-year tribulation period at the end of history). This book will be of value to every Christian who has an interest in Bible prophecy and eschatology.

Book Why Creeds and Confessions

Download or read book Why Creeds and Confessions written by Jay Rogers and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2016-03-24 with total page 228 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Why a book on the creeds and confessions of the Church? A single book containing the actual texts of the most important creeds of the early Church will not often be found. Out of the multitude of works on the evangelical Christian book market today, those dealing with the creeds of the Church are scarce. This book contains the full texts of the most important creeds of the early Church. The purpose is to put into the reader's hands a book containing the creeds that all Christians throughout the ages - Roman Catholic, Eastern Orthodox and Protestant - have believed. When we come to the Reformation period, we will see that the matter of salvation and church government became a matter of debate. However, there has always been a continuous thread of teaching that all Christians have held in common. Why Creeds and Confessions? provides a foundation of biblical orthodoxy as a defense against the false and truly heretical doctrines advanced by the spirit of this age.

Book excerpt: The book of Daniel reveals a life of encounter based on a love for God that has always been available to the church. In the midst of transition and seeking God, He will meet us and increase His presence and grace in our lives. Daniel is written as an example of how to excel in life, receive eternal benefit from the challenges that come our way, and how to change culture. Now and in the end times, the world and the church face the same issues. The World will not understand what is happening, as the inhabitants are being swept along by the Spirit of the Age. The church will discover God's nature and benefit as He reveals Himself in wisdom, understanding, signs, and wonders. Daniel Gonzalez and his wife Laurie live in Roseville, CA. They have been married for twenty-four years and have four children, Meaghan, Daniel, Abigail, and Joshua. Currently, Meaghan attends IHOPU in Kansas City, MO. Daniel jr.'s interest is music and he is a gifted guitarist. Abigail 7, and Joshua 5 enjoy being kids. Daniel has been a student of the word and prophetic ministry since receiving Christ in 1974. 'Teaching on prophetic ministry for the past decade I felt a Holy Spirit nudge to study the Book of Daniel. This study has turned out to be End Time Daniels. Each of us can hear and obey the Holy Spirit; we never know where that obedience will take us. In this case the Lord continually spoke to me and led me as I studied; encouraging me along the way with insight as I asked Him for understanding. My hope is that those who read this book will find the encouragement to be a Daniel in their generation.'
