Book excerpt: Dans le but de minimiser les pertes thermiques nocturnes d'une part et collecter le maximum de rayonnement solaire d'autre part, une etude des performances energetiques a ete menee sur un chauffe-eau solaire a stockage integre. Celui-ci est a base d'un reservoir cylindrique en inox place a l'interieur d'un coffre isole thermiquement couvrant le besoin en eau chaude sanitaire d'une famille composee de quatre personnes. Sa surface reflectrice est constituee de trois branches paraboliques. L'analyse des performances thermiques obtenus montre que ce systeme permet de chauffer l'eau jusqu'a 60 C mais presentant des pertes thermiques tres elevees suite a des imperfections de realisation de ses quelques composantes. Afin de remedier a ces problemes en plus de sa grande forme geometrique, nous avons procede de compacter et de redimensionner ce chauffe-eau solaire. Le nouveau systeme est concu, realise et teste dans le but d'elever le niveau de la temperature de l'eau pendant les jours les moins ensoleilles et reduire les pertes thermiques nocturnes. Les resultats obtenus, compares a ceux de l'ancien modele et a d'autre types de chauffe-eau solaires ont montre la meilleure performance.
