This affectionate biographical memoir in both English and French has been compiled by former theatrical friend, John Coles, with the help of many of her friends.

He was formerly Chairperson of the Department of History and Director of the Institute of Ethiopian Studies at Addis Ababa University. Amongst his publication is A History of Modern Ethiopia 1855-1991.
