Este libro "Curso de Educación Afectivo-Sexual: libro de ejercicios" en líneas generales nos dan las pautas de cómo llevar a cabo en el aula la educación afectiva-sexual de los niños y niñas según las diferentes etapas educativas donde se encuentren, orientando en el diseño y desarrollo de las unidades didácticas correspondientes. Así como un listado muy detallado de actividades de dinámicas de grupo que son importantes que realicemos en clase de cara a la formación de valores y actitudes que nos requiere nuestra preparación como profesorado. Para ello es necesario que nos dotemos de instrumentos, situaciones de aprendizaje, que nos permitan indagar, tomar conciencia, hacer explícitas las creencias, los prejuicios, las ideas y las concepciones, que analicemos cómo se materializan en la práctica, cómo influyen en la vida cotidiana, en nuestras actitudes y de qué manera pueden determinar nuestra práctica docente. Book excerpt: The term "femme" originates from 1940s Western working-class lesbian bar culture, wherein femme referred to a feminine lesbian who was typically in a relationship with a butch lesbian. Expanding from this original meaning, femme has since emerged as a form of femininity reclaimed by queer and culturally marginalized folks. Importantly, femme has also evolved into a theoretical framework. Femme theory argues that "femme" constitutes a missing piece in queer and feminist discourses of femininity. Attending to this gap, femme theory centres queer femininities as a means of pushing against the deeply embedded masculinist orientation of queer and gender theory. Thus, femme theory offers tools to shift the way researchers and readers understand femininity as well as systems of gender and power more broadly. This book is an introduction to femme theory, showcasing how femme can be used as a theoretical framework across a variety of contexts and disciplines, such as Film & Media Studies, Psychology, Sociology, or Critical Disability Studies; from countries, including Canada, China, Guyana and the USA. In the United States alone about 50 million people regularly smoke tobacco and another 5 million are addicted to other drugs. In a given year, millions of these individuals attemptâ€"with or without medical assistanceâ€"to quit using drugs, though relapse remains the norm. Furthermore, each year several million teenagers start smoking and nearly as many take illicit drugs for the first time. Research is advancing on promising new means of treating drug addiction using immunotherapies and sustained-release (depot) medications. The aim of this research is to develop medications that can block or significantly attenuate the psychoactive effects of such drugs as cocaine, nicotine, heroin, phencyclidine, and methamphetamine for weeks or months at a time. This represents a fundamentally new therapeutic approach that shows promise for treating drug addiction problems that were difficult to treat in the past. Despite their potential benefits, however, several characteristics of these new methods pose distinct behavioral, ethical, legal, and social challenges that require careful scrutiny. Such issues can be considered unique aspects of safety and efficacy that are fundamentally related to the distinct nature and properties of these new types of medications.
