The greatest work we are privileged to do for the LORD is to bring others to a: KNOWLEDGE OF CHRIST JESUS the Lord, as their personal savior. The degree of our: JOY IN HEAVEN will be determined by the: SOULS we have had a part in bringing to: CHRIST. Paul tells the Thessalonian believers that they are his: "HOPE, or JOY, or CROWN OF REJOICING" now and when Jesus Christ comes. 1) If we look, we will see that it is: WISE to win: SOULS to Christ Jesus. The fruit of the righteous is a tree of life; and he that winneth souls is wise. Proverbs 11:30. 2) We will find that it is a work against: SIN to win: SOULS to Christ Jesus. Let him know, that he which converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins. James 5:20. It is interesting that the word: CONVERTETH is the same as saying: TO CHANGE... TRANSFORM... TURN... EXCHANGE... Paul talks of this: If by any means I may provoke to emulation them which are my flesh, and might save some of them. Romans 11:14. And the word: "HIDE" in James 5:20 above means: "TO COVER." And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins. 1 Peter 4:8. 3) Next we find that Jesus Himself said it causes: JOY IN HEAVEN to win: SOULS to Him. Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth. Luke 15:10. Lastly we find that every Soul winner will: SHINE as the stars forever. And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever. Daniel 12:3.
