Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The media perceptions of a COUGAR: an oversexed, desperate older woman on the prowl for nave younger meat could not be more misleading. Every ripened woman I know to be a real COUGAR is so diverse, so deep, and so much more. The COUGAR today has evolved from a woman that has truly suffered to grow and mature. Life has dealt her a hard blow at least once in her youth to teach her what her lifes purpose is truly about. Those lessons that are the most painful are the lessons we grow the most from, and everything is as it should be. Life has taught her, with pleasure and anguish, those lessons so she can discover the real mystery of life and so she, as a spiritually minded soul, can connect to the divine divinity of life. I have been all things unholy; if God can work through me, he can work through anyone (St. Francis of Assisi). So if the COUGAR has chosen a sinful lifestyle, why is she so mysterious and why have so many now look upon her as the new sexual icon and matron of the mystery of life? Perhaps it is from her past sins that she has grown and gained the wisdom of the purpose of life, and that is what makes her the most desirable of all. Lets explore the fascinating lives of COUGARS. Lets get to know about these extraordinary women who fully embrace the COUGAR lifestyle. What makes them so astonishing? Who are they and where have they come from? What lessons has life taught them to make them so amazing? What have they been through and where are they going? Why do they love dating younger men? What keeps them so viral? How did they suddenly become so successful, smart, sexy, and powerful? How do they exhume such confidence? Why have COUGARS become such centers of attention? How have they made their middle age the new sexual icon? How have these women redefined age and relationships, as well as themselves? And lastly, what is it that makes them so astonishingly desirable?

Download or read book Evil Deeds at Red Cougar written by Robert E. Howard and published by Read Books Ltd. This book was released on 2015-02-12 with total page 25 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This early work by Robert E. Howard was originally published in 1936 and we are now republishing it with a brand new introductory biography. 'Evil Deeds at Red Cougar' is a story in the Breckinridge Elkins series about a cowboy in the wild west. Robert Ervin Howard was born in Peaster, Texas in 1906. During his youth, his family moved between a variety of Texan boomtowns, and Howard - a bookish and somewhat introverted child - was steeped in the violent myths and legends of the Old South. At fifteen Howard began to read the pulp magazines of the day, and to write more seriously. The December 1922 issue of his high school newspaper featured two of his stories, 'Golden Hope Christmas' and 'West is West'. In 1924 he sold his first piece - a short caveman tale titled 'Spear and Fang' - for $16 to the not-yet-famous Weird Tales magazine. Howard's most famous character, Conan the Cimmerian, was a barbarian-turned-King during the Hyborian Age, a mythical period of some 12,000 years ago. Conan featured in seventeen Weird Tales stories between 1933 and 1936 which is why Howard is now regarded as having spawned the 'sword and sorcery' genre. The Conan stories have since been adapted many times, most famously in the series of films starring Arnold Schwarzenegger.

Download or read book Warrior s Rage written by Douglas MacGregor and published by Naval Institute Press. This book was released on 2009-09-01 with total page 278 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: On 26 February 1991, cavalry troops of “Cougar Squadron,” the 2nd Squadron of the 2nd Armored Cavalry Regiment, charged out of a sandstorm during Operation Desert Storm and caught Iraq’s Republican Guard Corps in the open desert along the North-South grid line of a military map referred to as the “73 Easting.” Taken by surprise, the defending Iraqi armor brigade was swept away in salvos of American tank and missile fire in what became the U.S. Army’s largest tank battle since World War II. Douglas Macgregor, the man who trained and led Cougar Squadron into battle, recounts two stories. One is the inspiring tale of the valiant American soldiers, sergeants, lieutenants, and captains who fought and won the battle. The other is a story of failed generalship, one that explains why Iraq’s Republican Guard escaped, ensuring that Saddam Hussein’s regime survived and America’s war with Iraq dragged on. Certain to provoke debate, this is the latest book from the controversial and influential military veteran whose two previous books, Breaking the Phalanx and Transformation Under Fire, are credited with influencing thinking and organization inside America’s ground forces and figure prominently in current discussions about military strategy and defense policies. Its fast-moving battle narrative, told from the vantage point of Macgregor’s Abrams tank, and its detailed portraits of American soldiers, along with vivid descriptions of the devastating technology of mounted warfare, will captivate anyone with a taste for adventure as well as an interest in contemporary military history.
