Book Crash at Corona

Download or read book Crash at Corona written by Don Berliner and published by Cosimo, Inc.. This book was released on 2010-04-01 with total page 244 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: IF UFOS DON'T EXIST, THEN THEY CAN'T CRASH. But something did crash near Corona, a tiny town not far from Roswell, New Mexico, in 1947. And that crash has been dissected and debated ever since. Aviation/science writer Don Berliner and nuclear physicist Stanton Friedman, the original civilian investigator of the so-called Roswell incident, have delved into the controversy to find the truth. They sifted through once-classified government documents, interviewed military and civilian witnesses, pieced together evidence, considered alternative theories, and concluded that a UFO crashed near Corona-and the U.S. government knew it and covered it up. Crash at Corona proves that what was found in the New Mexico desert wasn't a weather balloon or a secret weapon-it was a UFO. "One of the more credible books arguing the existence of UFOs...Most arresting of all is the testimony of those who handled the debris, who had no opportunity to compare notes, yet have described the materials ...in almost identical language."-Publishers Weekly DON BERLINER has written more than 300 magazine articles and 25 books on aviation history and space and was also a staff writer for the National Investigations Committee on Aerial Phenomena (NICAP). He is board chairman of the non-profit Fund for UFO Research, Inc., and is a delegate to the UFO Research Coalition. STANTON T. FRIEDMAN is a nuclear physicist who has worked for General Electric, General Motors, Westinghouse, and other corporations. He is also the author of TOP SECRET/MAJIC and has appeared on Larry King, Unsolved Mysteries, and Nightline, and was involved with the documentaries UFOs Are Real and Flying Saucers Are Real. He was the final speaker at the fiftieth anniversary conference at the International UFO Museum and Research Center at Roswell, and has given more than 700 lectures on the subject of UFOs.

This book was released on 2020-10-27 with total page 119 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Writing is arguably one of the most challenging skills to master because it requires fluency and accuracy of micro level skills (e.g. handwriting, spelling, capitalization, punctuation) within genre specific macro level skills (e.g. vocabulary, cohesion, coherence, audience). Further, writing development is often intricately linked to reading acquisition, therefore, development in one area (e.g. reading) typically correlates with development in the other (e.g. writing). Dr. Kumar Shyam, the author has been in the field of medicines and surgery for the last about 30 years. While he has practical experience of treating patients suffering from various diseases, Covid-19 is a disease which has hit everybody across the globe so suddenly that not every aspect of this is clear to the experts even now. It has already taken the shape of a pandemic and the medical fraternity, scientists and experts are busy to find out a proper treatment plan for the disease. The author has made an earnest effort to deal with issues which have come up before the mankind as a result of a sudden outbreak of this pandemic including the real issue of its origin at a place with which everyone is familiar now, a city known as Wuhan in China, in a really interesting manner and in the shape of a plot giving insights into all the facts combining with them the fiction part. Although he is in the field of medicines, the way he has narrated the plot, it puts him into the category of regular and prolific writers. The mixture of facts with imagination is beautiful and amazing, giving the Book the status of a Class Reading We congratulate Dr. Kumar Shyam for the work done and feel our Readers will find the Book so engrossing that they will not leave the Book without going through it entirely in one go. Book Tactics and Techniques of Electronic Warfare

Download or read book Tactics and Techniques of Electronic Warfare written by Bernard C. Nalty and published by Lulu.com. This book was released on 2013-04-30 with total page 185 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The air campaign mounted against North Vietnam was the first time that an integrated air defense system based around radar-controlled guns and surface-to-air missiles had been encountered. Proponents of surface-to-air missiles had claimed that their lethality would drive manned aircraft from the battlefield. At first, the U.S. Air Force was hard-pressed to neutralize North Vietnam's radar-controlled defenses, but did prevail. Electronic countermeasures support for the air war against North Vietnam included stand-off jamming, Wild Weasel operations, the use of self protection pods, and the employment of chaff. Using all these techniques, Linebacker II saw the B-52s of Strategic Air Command facing the most effective air defense system the Soviet Union could provide. The B-52s won; the much-heralded surface-to-air missiles were scoring a lower kill rate than German defenses in World War Two. This campaign laid the foundations for the technology used by the USAF to neutralize enemy defenses ever since.

Book The Cycle of War and the Coronavirus

Download or read book The Cycle of War and the Coronavirus written by Martin A. Armstrong and published by Gatekeeper Press. This book was released on 2020-12-15 with total page 527 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: The global economy deteriorated in a matter of months due to governments’ mishandling of the coronavirus outbreak. General observers may describe this event as “unforeseen,” but they fail to look at the patterns of the past that reveal the future. Cyclical behavior dominates every facet of our world, including warfare, civil unrest, and even pandemics. “The Cycle of War and the Coronavirus” is the most comprehensive review of the war cycle from the beginning of recorded history. The civil unrest prevailing on a worldwide basis can be traced to events of the past, as it is cyclically on time for a revolution. However, the current pandemic is by no means a natural occurrence—this a deliberate attempt to radicalize the world in the vision of those pulling strings behind the curtain. This book exposes the truth, explaining why the coronavirus outbreak destroyed the global economy, the culprits, and what we can expect in the short-term and long-term volatile future.

Book Rethinking Warfare in the 21st Century

Download or read book Rethinking Warfare in the 21st Century written by Iulian Chifu and published by Cambridge University Press. This book was released on 2023-07-13 with total page 371 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book seeks to critically review and evaluate the changes and consistencies in how warfare is interpreted and represented by academics, mass media outlets and political actors in the 21st century. The authors suggest that it is essential to understand the evolution and transformation of contemporary warfare's conceptualisation and practice in order to make sense of the current global geopolitical transformations that are in process, from a unipolar to multipolar global order. They therefore examine the various key actors in international relations from conceptual, theoretical and empirical perspectives through thematic chapters that demonstrate the increasingly central role played by intangible factors in the representation and management of contemporary armed conflict. The book stresses the need to reflect and rethink the potentially highly problematic trajectory of the global community within the framework of 21st century warfare's political and informational influence and effects.

Book Fifth Generation Warfare

Download or read book Fifth Generation Warfare written by Armin Krishnan and published by Taylor & Francis. This book was released on 2024-03-11 with total page 174 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: This book outlines the concept of Fifth Generation Warfare (5GW) and demonstrates its relevance for understanding contemporary conflicts. Non-kinetic modes of attack and war waged by groups or non-state actors at the societal level has been termed 5GW. This book discusses the theory of generational warfare and explores the key ideas of 5GW, such as secrecy, the manipulation of proxies, the manipulation of identity and culture (including disinformation and big data), and the use of psychological warfare. These techniques are used to achieve strategic objectives, such as inducing desired behaviour and controlling human terrain, without resorting to overt war or overt violence. The text expands the debate on 5GW by exploring emerging technologies and how they could be used for maliciously shaping human society and even for maliciously changing the genetic makeup of a population for the purpose of unprecedented social control. The work closes with comments on the possibility of a Sixth Generation of Warfare, which targets technical systems to possibly collapse a society through strategic sabotage. Overall, the book demonstrates the relevance of 5GW for understanding contemporary conflicts, from the Arab Spring to the war in Ukraine, in terms of the need for dominating the human domain. This book will be of interest to students of security and technology, defence studies and International Relations.
