Download or read book Contribution une m thodologie de conception des syst mes d assemblage pour familles et produits written by Laurent Dufrêne and published by . This book was released on 1991 with total page 198 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: DANS LE CONTEXTE DE MARCHES DE PLUS EN PLUS CONCURRENTIELS, LES ENTREPRISES MANUFACTURIERES SE DOIVENT DE PROPOSER DES GAMMES DE PRODUITS LES PLUS VASTES POSSIBLES AFIN DE RESTER COMPETITIVES. L'APPROCHE METHODOLOGIQUE PROPOSE VISE A ELABORER UNE DEMARCHE DE CONCEPTION DES SYSTEMES D'ASSEMBLAGE DEDIEE A CES ENSEMBLES DE PRODUITS. UNE PREMIERE PARTIE DEFINIT LA NOTION DE FAMILLE DE PRODUITS BASEE SUR LES FONCTIONS QU'ILS ASSURENT ET PRESENTE UNE METHODE D'ANALYSE DE CES FAMILLES. DANS UN PREMIER TEMPS, L'UTILISATION DES CONCEPTS DE DESCRIPTEUR ET D'ATTRIBUT PERMET DE CARACTERISER LES DIFFERENTS PRODUITS D'UNE FAMILLE ET DE CONSTITUER DES SOUS-FAMILLES. LES ELEMENTS DE DESCRIPTION (INTERFACE INTERNE, INTERFACE EXTERNE, SIGNATURE) ET LE ROLE FONCTIONNEL DES COMPOSANTS DANS LEURS PRODUITS RESPECTIFS CONSTITUENT LA BASE DE LEUR COMPARAISON. CETTE DEUXIEME ETAPE DE L'ANALYSE CONDUIT A LA CREATION DE CLASSES DE CORRESPONDANCE DE COMPOSANTS. L'ELABORATION D'UN MODELE COMMUN A L'ENSEMBLE DES PRODUITS DE LA FAMILLE EST PRESENTEE DANS UNE SECONDE PARTIE. LE GRAPHE GENERIQUE ETIQUETE REPOSE SUR LA DOUBLE CORRESPONDANCE SOMMET/COMPOSANT ELEMENTAIRE ET ARETE/LIAISON FONCTIONNELLE ET ASSOCIE A CHAQUE SOMMET ET ARETE UNE ETIQUETTE PRECISANT LES PRODUITS AUXQUELS APPARTIENT LE COMPOSANT OU LA LIAISON FONCTIONNELLE CORRESPONDANT. L'EXPLOITATION DE CE MODELE CONDUIT A LA GENERATION DES GAMMES D'ASSEMBLAGES DEDIEES A LA FAMILLE. UNE MATRICE ASSOCIEE A CHAQUE GAMME TRADUIT L'ADMISSIBILITE DES OPERATIONS QUI LA COMPOSENT POUR LES DIFFERENTS PRODUITS DE LA FAMILLE. DIFFERENTES STRATEGIES D'ASSEMBLAGE DE FAMILLES DE PRODUITS SONT ETUDIEES DANS UNE TROISIEME PARTIE. LES GAMMES A VARIABILITE MINIMALE CONSTITUENT DES REPONSES INTERESSANTES A LA FLEXIBILITE REQUISE POUR L'ASSEMBLAGE DE PRODUITS DIFFERENTS. LA SELECTION DES GAMMES MET EN UVRE DES CRITERES PROPRES A CHAQUE PRODUIT ET DES CRITERES LIES A LA FAMILLE. LES TAUX DE VARIATION CALCULES POUR CHAQUE OPERATION DEFINISSENT LA COMPLEXITE DYNAMIQUE D'UNE GAMME PAR RAPPORT A L'ORDONNANCEMENT DES PRODUITS DE LA FAMILLE SUR LE SYSTEME D'ASSEMBLAGE

D'AUTRE PART, IL S'AGIT D'EXCLURE DES LE DEBUT LES MAUVAISES STRATEGIES D'ASSEMBLAGE AFIN DE LIMITER L'ETUDE AUX SEULES STRATEGIES PROMETTEUSES. LA PREMIERE PARTIE DE LA THESE PRESENTE UNE NOUVELLE MODELISATION DES FAMILLES DE PRODUITS. IL S'AGIT D'UN MODELE DE DONNEES OBJET AYANT UNE STRUCTURATION HIERARCHISEE QUI FOURNIT A LA FOIS UN MOYEN ADEQUAT DE REPRESENTATION DES FAMILLES DE PRODUITS ET UN SUPPORT A L'INTEGRATION. DANS UNE SECONDE PARTIE, L'ELABORATION ET L'EVALUATION DES GAMMES GENERIQUES D'ASSEMBLAGE SONT ETUDIEES. UN MODELE EST PROPOSE POUR LA REPRESENTATION DES PROCESSUS D'ASSEMBLAGE MULTIPRODUITS. UNE METHODE D'ELABORATION DES GAMMES GENERIQUES D'ASSEMBLAGE, INSPIREE DE LA METHODE LAB MONOPRODUIT, EST PRESENTEE. POUR L'EVALUATION DE CES GAMMES UN NOUVEAU CRITERE EST FORMULE. LE BUT EST D'EVALUER LES EFFETS DE LA VARIABILITE DES PRODUITS D'UNE FAMILLE SUR LE SYSTEME D'ASSEMBLAGE AFIN DE POUVOIR IDENTIFIER LES GAMMES QUI MINIMISENT LE SURCOUT DU A CETTE VARIABILITE. LA DERNIERE PARTIE DE LA THESE EST CONSACREE A L'ETUDE DE L'INTEGRATION DES FONCTIONS DE CONCEPTION D'UNE FAMILLE DE PRODUITS ET DE SON PROCESSUS D'ASSEMBLAGE. UNE DEMARCHE DE CONCEPTION INTEGREE, BASEE SUR LES TECHNIQUES PRESENTEES AU PREALABLE ET SUR LES NOTIONS D'ETAT MATERIEL STRUCTURE ET DE PAS DE CONCEPTION, EST PROPOSEE. L'OBJECTIF EST DE CONCEVOIR DES PRODUITS ADAPTES A L'ASSEMBLAGE ET D'EVITER LES RECONCEPTIONS COUTEUSES SOUVENT PRESENTES DANS LES DEMARCHES CLASSIQUES DE CONCEPTION.

This book was released on 1999 with total page 195 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle.

Book Adhesion between polymers and concrete Adh sion entre polym res et b ton

Download or read book Adhesion between polymers and concrete Adh sion entre polym res et b ton written by H. R. Sasse and published by Springer. This book was released on 2013-11-27 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Preface Adhesion is a phenomenon architects and civil engineers are not very familiar with. In other disciplines knowledge about surface properties and the background of bonding energies is also far from satisfactory; nevertheless there are many important· applications in concrete engineering, where adhesion is necessary for success and durability. These include: - coating and painting - repair of concrete surfaces - bonding of fresh to old concrete - crack injection - glueing of precast elements - glueing of steel to concrete, etc. In 1981 RILEM established the technical committee 52-RAC 'Resin Adherence to Concrete'. The main aims of the committee's work were - to collect research results and practical experiences - to initiate and coordinate research programs - to develop, on a scientific base, test methods for field and for laboratory purposes. One of the results of the committee's work is a state-of-the-art report, which will be presented orally as a General Report at the International Symposium ISAP '86, and will be printed either in the RILEM journal Materials and Structures or separately. Several test recommendations have been elaborated and will be prepared as drafts for the participants ofISAP '86. These are: - direct tensile test - pull-off test - direct shear test - slant shear test - four-point bending test - dynamic loading test - thermal compatibility test (two versions) - injectibility test.

Book excerpt: Earthen architecture constitutes one of the most diverse forms of cultural heritage and one of the most challenging to preserve. It dates from all periods and is found on all continents but is particularly prevalent in Africa, where it has been a building tradition for centuries. Sites range from ancestral cities in Mali to the palaces of Abomey in Benin, from monuments and mosques in Iran and Buddhist temples on the Silk Road to Spanish missions in California. This volume's sixty-four papers address such themes as earthen architecture in Mali, the conservation of living sites, local knowledge systems and intangible aspects, seismic and other natural forces, the conservation and management of archaeological sites, research advances, and training.

Book Faecal Sludge Management

Download or read book Faecal Sludge Management written by Linda Strande and published by IWA Publishing. This book was released on 2014-08-15 with total page 428 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: It is estimated that literally billions of residents in urban and peri-urban areas of Africa, Asia, and Latin America are served by onsite sanitation systems (e.g. various types of latrines and septic tanks). Until recently, the management of faecal sludge from these onsite systems has been grossly neglected, partially as a result of them being considered temporary solutions until sewer-based systems could be implemented. However, the perception of onsite or decentralized sanitation technologies for urban areas is gradually changing, and is increasingly being considered as long-term, sustainable options in urban areas, especially in low- and middle-income countries that lack sewer infrastructures. This is the first book dedicated to faecal sludge management. It compiles the current state of knowledge of the rapidly evolving field of faecal sludge management, and presents an integrated approach that includes technology, management, and planning based on Sandecs 20 years of experience in the field. Faecal Sludge Management: Systems Approach for Implementation and Operation addresses the organization of the entire faecal sludge management service chain, from the collection and transport of sludge, and the current state of knowledge of treatment options, to the final end use or disposal of treated sludge. The book also presents important factors to consider when evaluating and upscaling new treatment technology options. The book is designed for undergraduate and graduate students, and engineers and practitioners in the field who have some basic knowledge of environmental and/or wastewater engineering.

Book Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations

Download or read book Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations written by Sandip Mazumder and published by Academic Press. This book was released on 2015-12-01 with total page 484 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Numerical Methods for Partial Differential Equations: Finite Difference and Finite Volume Methods focuses on two popular deterministic methods for solving partial differential equations (PDEs), namely finite difference and finite volume methods. The solution of PDEs can be very challenging, depending on the type of equation, the number of independent variables, the boundary, and initial conditions, and other factors. These two methods have been traditionally used to solve problems involving fluid flow. For practical reasons, the finite element method, used more often for solving problems in solid mechanics, and covered extensively in various other texts, has been excluded. The book is intended for beginning graduate students and early career professionals, although advanced undergraduate students may find it equally useful. The material is meant to serve as a prerequisite for students who might go on to take additional courses in computational mechanics, computational fluid dynamics, or computational electromagnetics. The notations, language, and technical jargon used in the book can be easily understood by scientists and engineers who may not have had graduate-level applied mathematics or computer science courses. Presents one of the few available resources that comprehensively describes and demonstrates the finite volume method for unstructured mesh used frequently by practicing code developers in industry Includes step-by-step algorithms and code snippets in each chapter that enables the reader to make the transition from equations on the page to working codes Includes 51 worked out examples that comprehensively demonstrate important mathematical steps, algorithms, and coding practices required to numerically solve PDEs, as well as how to interpret the results from both physical and mathematic perspectives

Book On the Take

Download or read book On the Take written by Lindy Muzila and published by . This book was released on 2012 with total page 0 pages. Available in PDF, EPUB and Kindle. Book excerpt: Despite broad international recognition of the criminalization of illicit enrichment, it has not been universally accepted as an anti-corruption measure. Instead, criminalization of illicit enrichment continues to generate extensive debate and controversy. Against this background, this volume aims to provide an analysis of how illicit enrichment works, and attempts to shed light on any contributions that it has made to the fight against corruption and the recovery of stolen assets. Rather than delving into the theoretical and academic debates around illicit enrichment, this study focuses primarily on the analysis of current practice, case law, and existing literature to offer a new perspective to the on-going discussions. More specifically, the volume addresses the legal framework upon which the concept of illicit enrichment rests, and the resulting policy implications of that legal framework. It also focuses on illicit enrichment as an anti-corruption mechanism, from its roots as a response to the problems inherent to prosecutions involving corruption, to an examination of elements and inchoate offenses relating to illicit enrichment under international conventions. It examines illicit enrichment jurisprudence in the global context. An extensive survey was carried out to determine the countries where the offense exists, what form it takes, how often it is used, and for countries where it doesn't, what other measures are used in its place. The authors neither recommend nor oppose the adoption of illicit enrichment provisions, but rather aim to assist jurisdictions considering such steps by highlighting key questions that might arise during implementation, including how the offense is defined and enforced domestically by States. Similarly, the authors do not endorse nor criticize any practice carried out by States in the implementation of the criminalization of illicit enrichment. Ultimately, it is also hoped that this study provides a basis for further discussion amongst policy makers and practitioners, and fuels upcoming discussions by the Conference of State parties of the UNCAC and its Working Groups
