Book excerpt: Ce travail porte sur la simulation d'écoulements dans des circuits de procédés et de sécurité avec le logiciel speedUp, en vue de l'étude des pertes de charge en régime dynamique. Il s'intéresse particulièrement au cas d'un réseau de torche qu'on souhaite pouvoir examiner depuis l'amont jusqu'a la torchère. En se basant sur les différents régimes d'écoulements pouvant exister dans un réseau de torche, on a élaboré différents modèles d'écoulement unidimensionnel à partir des équations de bilan et d'une thermodynamique élaborée. Partant de l'analyse unidimensionnelle de l'écoulement dans une canalisation, on a examiné la modélisation d'écoulements lents et rapides, monophasiques et diphasiques, stationnaires et transitoires. Cette modélisation a été étendue a des interconnexions de canalisations. A cette occasion, on a pu élaborer de nouveaux modèles de soupapes. On décrit des difficultés de modélisation au niveau de la conception de modèles et de la convergence de simulations. Pour une modélisation dynamique, on examine notamment le problème d'indice de nilpotente et son traitement par une méthode algorithmique. Lors de l'examen de cas d'application des modèles, on expose différentes méthodes qui permettent de faciliter la convergence de la simulation. La validation industrielle de la modélisation a été rendue difficile par des facteurs tels que des topologies évoluées et un manque relatif de mesures. L'étude s'appuie alors sur des résultats complémentaires de la littérature et de simulations indépendantes. L'examen de cas industriels démontre cependant l'utilité de la simulation dynamique dans l'examen des effets, parfois inattendus, de perturbations.
