Book excerpt: Les systèmes à plusieurs machines électriques et convertisseurs statiques occupent une part importante dans le domaine des entraînements, que ce soit dans les transports, les processus industriels ou même les services. Ces systèmes qui partagent une ressource électrique, mécanique ou d'une autre nature, sont désignés systèmes multimachines multiconvertisseurs (SMM). Outre le problème classique de robustesse inhérent à la commande des actionneurs électriques, les SMM posent des problèmes de gestion énergétique, problèmes induits par les divers couplages qui les caractérisent. L'objectif de cette thèse est une étude de la commande à modèle de comportement (CMC) en vue de son application aux SMM, dans l'objectif d'apporter une solution aux problèmes de robustesse et de couplage. Dans un premier temps, l'analyse de la CMC est présentée. Cette commande exploite l'écart entre un processus et son modèle considéré linéaire stationnaire, afin de modifier les actions du processus réel et le " forcer " ainsi à suivre un comportement défini. Les performances de robustesse sont mises en évidence en simulation (machine à courant continu et machine asynchrone) et expérimentalement (machine à courant continu). De plus, une extension de la CMC pour gérer deux boucles imbriquées est proposée, ainsi qu'une stratégie spécifique de limitation. Dans un deuxième temps, la CMC est appliquée aux SMM. L'étude porte sur un couplage aval de type mécanique. Trois nouvelles structures de commande, basées sur la CMC sont analysées en plus de deux structures classiques (commande moyenne et maître-esclave). Une de ces nouvelles structures est enfin appliquée à la commande d'un métro automatique pour résoudre des problèmes de répartition énergétique mécanique et de patinage.
